Mattel Disney Collector Ariel The Little Mermaid Doll with Display Stand, Inspired by Disney Movie 35th Anniversary

My daughter loved her! Beautiful quality.

Gorgeous doll at a decent price! I am in love with her dress, long hair and understated makeup with glittery eye detail. Can’t comment on durability because she’s just for show, but her sparkly dress is high quality, thick fabric and the jellyfish-like accents draped around her give a symbolic nod to her fish heritage lol. Also I don’t love her heavy plastic collar so I just took it off (it now looks like she’s creating a splash where she steps :)). I am not a collector - I just love the animated Little Mermaid and this doll is true to the iconic vision of OG Ariel from my childhood.A tip: her hair is heavily gelled, and I don’t love stiff curls, so it helped me to work it just a little loose to make it more natural - an aesthetic choice really.

I love the little mermaid the “victory dress” has always been a favorite of mine so to see it finally in doll form! Gorgeous

Very nice doll

Love this doll! She is absolutely stunning and a must have for collectors. If you feel so inclined, you are also definitely able to gift this doll to a child for play as well.The dress is very sparkly, and resembles the scene in the movie well, (though is not as movie accurate as the extra dress that came with the Disney Store set that had Ariel, Triton, and Ursula) this is a more elevated take on it. The material is also very nice quality and does not snag very easily...which I was worried about when looking at the pictures. The accessories are very fun, I love the "shoes" and the arm piece being water wrapping around her as they provide extra glamour, without really deviating from the original content. I did take off the "wave" around her neck though as I don't think it adds anything to the doll and made the hair sit weird.There are a couple of negatives with this doll to address, however. The hair being first and foremost, the hair on the doll I received doesn't really have the curls that are shown in the description pictures. It is very gelled, but I think the curl just didn't hold. This is easy to fix though. The other negative is the doll base type...the arms articulate, but the legs don't, so she is not really posable outside of the original position (the stand is really great for this too).the $50 price point is very reasonable for a collector's doll, and I think the quality of the doll meets those standards as well. Definitely recommended!

It’s gorgeous but the face sculpt is very different than the one in the items thumbnail. I kinda hoped it would look exactly like it but I’m not really against this face sculpt it’s lovely either way.

Venía muy bien protegida con su caja café. Amazon la envío en bolsa, lo cual no me agrada cuando son collector pero llegó intacta!
