Gonzalez Byass Nectar Pedro Ximenez Sherry, 75cl

This sherry is a bit different to the norm. It has a dark, rich and velvety texture and has a very smooth finish. I ordered one bottle for a friend for Christmas and was so impressed that we had two more for ourselves over the festive period. Delightful and easy drinking… highly recommended.

...absolute nectar, literally! There's enough sweetness in here to put full fat cola to shame! This is, hands down, one of the nicest drinks I've tasted, period. I hadn't had a sherry for literally decades, and whilst I remember liking it, it was also a bit artificial, whatever the brand was - Harveys bristol cream?! Anyway, this Gonzalez Byass Nectar Pedro Ximenez is about as different as you can get, and is reminiscent of a really good dessert wine or ice wine/ice cider. It's absolutely packed with flavour, and is almost the essence of raisins. If you like sweet things and you like fortified drinks, you'll love this. May be too sweet for some palettes, but for me it's perfection!

If you’ve never tasted a Pedro Ximenex but you like a sweet liqueur or sherry try this. I have bought almost every one on offer as it’s my favourite drink to relax. This is in my top 3 and is the best value so I buy on monthly subscription for great value. Try it. It’s delicious

Try it chilled in a chilled glass after a meal for a Digestive. Super sweet and syrupy with notes of leather and wood and tobacco, absolutely delicious, and also amazing when poured over vanilla ice cream

Blimey, this is sweet! Absolutley bursting with flavour, but to be honest, just too sweet to drink - maybe a sipper after dinner but even then, it's just so sweet it's cloying. However, it's amazing for cooking! A slug or two of this in a stew just adds a massive middle flavour

Beautiful bottle , bought especially to make some of Nigellas pudinis ! Would make a fabulous gift for sherry fans . Luxurious bottle !

Delicious! I saw this on a cooking show and couldn’t hear the name, it was described as ‘rich, sweet nectar and like Christmas pudding in a glass’ so I had to buy some! After rewinding and adding subtitles, I finally found the name and thankfully, it was available on Amazon so bought some immediately! I am so glad I did! Very sweet but you only need a small glass to sip to feel you’ve had something really special. The main flavour to my palate is a deep raisin flavour. The figs and other elements are there but that’s the main one for me. It’s so lovely and I didn’t realise Sherry could taste like this.

Friggin delicious. Tastes like sticky toffee pudding in liquid form. Very calorific though.

Un vino dulce para el postre excepcional. Y ahora que se avecina la Semana Santa, con una buena torrija casera, el tándem perfecto. La uva de Pedro Ximenez, definitamente es diferente y especial. De lujo.

Sentori di uva secca e datteri. E poi? E poi basta. Non sono il tipo che per fare il figo vi prende in giro snocciolando 10 aromi... l'olfatto umano non ne percepisce tanti tutti insieme. Qui poi uva secca e datteri sono talmente forti che ci si può sentire solo... uva secca e datteri. Per chi ama la dolcezza.

Der Gonzales Byass Nectar PX macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Der Sherry zieht lange, ölige Nasen im GLas. Das ist dem hohen Zuckeranteil von ~380 g/l geschuldet. Die Farbe erinnert im ersten Augenblick an Cola, ist fast schwarz. Im Gegenlicht schimmert der Sherry in einem dunklen, wunderschönem Rotbraun. In der Nase rieche ich vor allem Rosinen und Pflaumen. Im Mund wieder die Süße vom Pflaumenmuß, Nüsse und Schokolade. Der Sherry ist lt. Angaben des Herstellers 9 Jahre alt. Insgesamt ein toller Sherry, für den Preis immer zu emfehlen. Ich genieße den Sherry am liebsten mit einem Eiswürfel, bei Zimmertemperatur ist er mir fast schon zu süß. Den Geschmackt bewerte ich mit 4 Sternen, weil mir ein wenig die Säure fehlt (und Kompelxität). Ich habe noch einen 20 jährigen PX zu Hause, der ist schon noch eine Nummer feiner (und 5 Sterne Wert). Das ist aber meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau, der Sherry ist schon sehr gut. P/L ist "Bombe". Daher insgesamt 5 Sterne für den Sherry.

Este vino es muy bueno tiene un sabor muy dulce como me gusta a mi y además está muy rico lo recomiendo el tío Pepe es muy famoso y me ha gustado mucho
