Not easiest deck to read
What do I like about these cards? The nice tin, the size of card and the quality. I also like the traditional antiquey style and artwork. I like the card names being in French as it makes this set different to my other cards and I can tell which cards they are anyway so it’s not an issue. What I am not so keen on is that the minor arcana cards don’t have an ‘action’ illustration on, they literally show the corresponding number and then 4 pentacles or whatever. So they would be harder for beginners. Also it’s hard to see the difference between some of the wand and sword cards. May be better suited as a collector’s deck? However the product info clearly describes how the minor arcana cards are illustrated and I get that some people prefer that and find it easier, I guess we all have different decks that do and don’t work for us.

Happy
I bought the other ‘pocket sized’ Marseille set (the one in the little red box) on amazon about a year ago, but although the cards were fine, this is much better. No matter how handy pocket sized decks in a mini cardboard box might look, they’re really a waste of money if you want to keep a deck in your bag all the time. The cardboard got worn really quickly, the lid kept coming open and I’d end up with a bagful of loose cards...yuk. This is a much better solution. If you’re going to carry a deck in your bag all the time, trust me, you need a tin. The beauty part in my case is that if I get bored with the look of this set, my first ‘mini’ Marseille set will also fit in this tin just fine. Only thing I don’t like about the tin is that it doesn’t proudly declare itself a Marseille deck on the front, because I’m not one for contemporary ‘novelty’ decks. The ‘Smith-Waite Centennial’ pocket deck in a tin is very good as well if you want to have a choice between the two classics.

Portable Marseille
Decent quality, shuffle well, great if you enjoy working within the Marseille tradition. Cute art but it doesn't particularly stand out to me.Love the tin and the size, great for travel.Four stars because these are quite accurate in readings! They complement my other traditional decks well

my everyday carry
well, what to say that hasnt already been said that might help someone decide to buy this little deck. I love it! its just the right size to carry in your pocket or purse. i found a small black zip pouch in a charity shop, just the right size and it goes everywere with me. I have been reading Tarot for nearly 50 years now, starting when there were so few decks to purchase. I started with the Swiss 1JJ deck, then the RWS and now have gone full circle back to pip decks. Im a big fan of traditional decks and this deck puts a pleasent twist to the traditional. It works well with my style of reading and satisfies my preference for tradition.

Nice modern marseilles style tarot.
I liked the card stock which seems durable. The pip cards have flowers and leaves, which makes them easier for me to read. A nice deck.

Didn't like artwork of cards.
Was looking for a deck of this size, but itdidn't click for me, images as well as colours, must be personal, gave it away. And I didn't like that all pips are the same size, like 2 or 10, all the same.

Tarot in a tin...
Very handy for readings at venues rather than full size cards...
