Upland Hunting Vest Tactical Backpack with Game Pouch, Pockets, Chest Strap and Waist Belt, Fit for Bird Hunting

Got this for rabbit hunting in thick cutovers covered in cat claws and briars. Held up for 3 hunts and going strong. Material is surprisingly strong, really enjoy the fact that it’s a harness and not a vest. It allows you to wear whatever you want and just slap it on top and be fully functional. The only thing is the camouflage pattern is a bit bright but a little rattle can therapy solved that. I took it through hell and back and it’s still in one piece. It’s deserved a spot in the closet.

This strap vest system is excellent in taking the load weight off your lower back and placing it on your shoulders. Pros: The construction and materials are good quality for the cost of the item. Shoulder straps are wide with strip of cushion. The pockets are adequate to hold a box of carts. The flaps with velcro on the pocket compartments have a small zipper pocket. Perfect for keys etc... Easy to equip on and off with no loss of cargo while retrieving birds bending over. Large game bag and easily accessible. Compact storage when not in use. Cons: Adjustment points are essentially useless unless your body is larger around your midsection. Pockets are sewn to belt strap and not adjustable along belt line. The unit is loose and meant to be, but it may slip side to side a bit while hiking. Overall this is a good piece of gear. I do wish it had a better adjustment points to keep it snug around the midsection. Best piece for the price.

I was looking for a high quality squirrel / bird vest and this is it. Totally waterproof game bag cordura outside material which is very durable. The only thing I would suggest doing on this vest would be to sew two rows of Shell Holders inside each big pocket. So your shells are stable and not lose. If it had those it would be perfect. I'm going to buy some shell holders and have them sewn inside myself and make it like it should have been made. That's the only thing they left out on this vest otherwise it is top notch. For 40 bucks you can't beat it it'll last you a lifetime. Camp Taylor.

This hunting vest is lightweight with a camo print that is well designed. The materials and stitching appear to be high quality. The collapsible backpack is handy and usable for carrying small game, or supplies. The front pockets are located well, but could have more volume and be easier to access if they were not designed flat. The adjustable straps work, but could have been designed better to limit the movement of the vest. The shoulder straps are wide, but they need more cushion, which is easily solved by adding wrap-around cushions. It works, but not the best design.

Hard to reach back pocket
