I bought the A5 size to test the paper quality and I am quite happy with this sketch book.. The paper quality is quite decent for watercolor practice, the price is very reasonable for what we are getting.. There is a medium texture which looks good in the work. Water absoption is not bad. You can see the effect in the two of my painting which I have uploaded..The dimension is slightly bigger than Scholar A5 size sketch book..I am going to order a A4 size next.

I have been really enjoying this art journal! The paper handles watercolours so well - blending is smooth, it holds water beautifully, and my paintings always turn out so so great on it. For the quality you get, the price is quite amazing. I will definitely be buying this again! 😍✨

Good sketchbook at an affordable price. Works well with pen, watercolor and gouache.

It holds the water well, but I think paper is a bit rough. Can make it a little smoother

Leider äußerlich nicht makellos. Irgendetwas stand auf dem Buch. Denke, dass die Vertiefung schon vor dem Verstand drin war. Das verlange ich aber schon für ca. 25€. Es gibt günstigere die kommen ohne Flecken etc. an. Rückgabe auch nicht möglich.

Excellent paper for watercolors. I use this as a practice journal, and I love that the cover is sturdy and the paper doesn't fall apart when I paint wet-on-wet.

The book is very small, fits in Palm of my hand; however the quality of the paper is good, paper doesn’t buckle when wet.

Love the paper texture and size is just right
