Where is it made?

Our knives are painstakingly assembled by expert blades smiths in a state-of-the-art facility within YangJiang, China (a city renowned for knife crafting for nearly 1500 years). We use premium materials from different locations depending on the product (for example, our Shogun & Phantom Series uses steel made in Japan, and our Gladiator Series uses steel made in Germany and handles made of pakkawood from Spain.)

Do you have it for left hander?

Unfortunately, no. We only have the Shogun Series single bevel knives in right-handed variants for now.

Can I set this knife for left-handed people?

Thank you for your question. We currently do not have a left-handed version of this Shogun Series Yanagiba and we also do not recommend transforming this knife into a left-handed bevelled knife because it will likely damage the knife and compromise its integrity.

Question 4

Would this knife be good for slicing thin pieces of cooked meats such as ham or roasts?

A yanagiba is typically used for thinly slicing fish, but this should work with boneless cuts of cooked meat too.
