I’ve purchased this Kaytee All Natural Timothy Hay (12 lb) multiple times and it’s consistently been a great value. It always arrives well-packaged and fresh, with soft, green hay on top and a clean scent that small animals love. The way the bag is packed makes it look very full, so I feel like I am definitely get what I am paying for. The top layer of the bag usually has long, soft pieces that are perfect for feeding. As you get further into the bag, you may notice more small, broken pieces and tougher strands. There's also a fair amount of hay dust, especially near the bottom, which can be irritating if you have a sensitive nose — I tend to sneeze a lot when scooping it out. Still, the overall quality and portion size make this hay a reliable choice. It lasts a long time depending on how much you feed, and the price is very fair for how much you get. I would definitely buy it again — it’s a great staple for any small pet diet, just be aware of the dust if you’re sensitive.

As much as I LOVE Timothy hay, I have to admit this item is rather always a hit or miss, no in between. Usually, 50% of the time the hay is very fresh and nice, barely any dust. When it’s fresh like this, it’s very bright, no dust, all good. But the other 50% is very bad, it’s usually all dusty, no real hay in it, and all gross. Although usually when I buy it nowadays its usually the hit part, all nice and actually hay like. The value of money for it is actually amazing. $10 for a week maybe for of hay, or in other words a LOT of hay comes for it for only $10. My guinea pigs love it as much as I do. When the hay is actually good, the texture is also very nice, its bright and very soft. Just for disclaimers and a warning, if you do get a bag with dusty particles PLEASE shake it out outside and leave only the good parts for them. In conclusion, the hay is very versatile and very good for the most part. Timothy hay is probably the best hay out there, PLEASE BUY IF YOU HAVE GUINEA PIGS OR OTHER ANIMALS THAT NEED LOTS OF FIBER!!

My pet rabbit like this hay eat fast and the cost is great 4 bags are better than one bag or three bags I can not find a 50 lb or a good cost for a 25 lb bag used in a cat box 4 times a day he likes this hay

This is the best hay that I’ve found for my guinea pig because she actually eats all of it instead of tossing it around her cage instead of eating it.
