Great Value that worked fine on a 15 year-old television
I was giving away an old Toshiba flatscreen to a family member that worked fine, but the remote was destroyed by some burst batteries. So I got this hoping it'd work out, and amazingly it worked just fine out of the box, just as soon as I put in batteries. You WILL need to provide your own batteries (I believe they were two AAA), but for $7 it's still an excellent deal.

Does not work with 6-month old FireTV by Toshiba
I ordered this for a 6-month old Toshiba FireTV and it does not work AT ALL. I doublechecked the batteries and they are fine so it's the remote that does not work. It was cheap and had good reviews overall but for some reason, it does not work with the FireTV. I'm returning it and picking one up at Best Buy.
