Purrpops Freeze-Dried Chicken Flavored Lollipop Cat Treats, 4 Pieces (Pack of 13)

Purr pops are the biggest hit with our tortie girl. They’re not a huge hit with all my cats (they all like different treats), but one of my girls would give all the catnip in the world for these! I was glad to find a whole case of them for a good price. They do not upset her stomach (she only has one every few days or once a week, not daily), like some treats have. They don’t stink like some treats, and so when she ultimately makes a crumbly mess all over from eating it, it’s easy to clean up and doesn’t leave an odor. She bites these right off the stick, like she’s chomping on a lollipop. She has no issue with the size, and they must taste amazing because she loses her mind when we open one up for her! These are a fan favorite for sure!

Oh boy. you guys are opening a can of worms with this review. I could talk about this for 10 minutes. My cal loves these. Evert day after the kids go to bed my cat stalks me and demands one. Seriously. Even if my wife just gave him one. I'll hold it out, he'll demand lots of petting before he begins, then he'll just attack it. It's all done in a minute or so. This may seem like a silly product, there are so many gimiky pet products. This is a very simple idea, that sounds a little crazy, but cats really go crazy for it. Go with chicken, the smell is fine. the salmon and tuna are a punch to the face for the pet owner, but the cat will like them too. The quality is great, the value is awesome considering how much my cat loves these. No waning of interest either. It's a bit of a bonding thing too. whoever gives the purr pop is the favor for an hour or two.

All of our cats are finicky eaters and they tear these up!! I even gave them to a couple of friends for their cats and they loved them as well. I try not to give him too many but my kitty boy will cry incessantly for these.

My cat is a huge fan! While they’re literally just chicken that’s been freeze-dried in a heart shape on a lollipop stick, it’s nicely interactive with my cat, so that it brings us closer together than just dropping treats on the floor for her otherwise would. It’s sick, but they actually smell not too terrible, rather like cups of chicken ramen if I do say so myself. I only mention it bc so many cat foods and treats smell terrible, or turn your stomach when they smell vaguely of food but look like something the cat upchucked. These don’t bother me in that way. They actually don’t smell strong at all — the only reason I picked up on a smell was bc once, my cat was purring on my lap when I gave her one of these treats. Overall, they’re vastly lower calorie compared to the other treats that my cat seems to find high-value (if I remember correctly, they’re like 6 kcals a treat) and bc they’re packaged individually, they’ll last forever and a day, I’d imagine. I wouldn’t actually know how long they’d last simply bc they don’t last all that long in my house. I’m glad I got these for my cat, I’m a fan of the calories and she’s a fan of the flavor!

My cat is not super food motivated and doesn't love a lot of treats. I tried these because I thought it was a cute alternative to Churus (which my cat doesn't like) where I'd still get to be involved with giving him a treat straight out of my hand. He licks for maybe 10 seconds before taking a big bite and is definitely excited when I offer treats and this is what I pull out. They are crumbly, and I usually have to clean up a bit after him because he won't pick up the small crumbs he leaves. It's almost like a styrofoamy texture so it's a little messy, but not terrible. I would definitely buy these again - I hate just relying on Temptations all the time and am happy to have found something my cat likes so he can get a little variety in his treats.

My wife bought these to use with our rescue cat. Hand given teats help build good associations so, lickable treats are always welcome. The rescue cat loved them! She would politely lick lick lick away at one side then the other we could put it away then she would come back. Absolute success! Then there's the orange one. Its always the orange one. Our chicken obsessed orange and white girl cat felt the primal call of poultry in her bones and came to get hers. In cross over remake of jaws and the tootsie roll owl she licked it twice then chewed it off the stick in a single chomp. Still total success in our books as she will do anything for them so now we buy them by the case and also to share with cat friends so they can report back on how their cats like it.

2/3 of my cats absolutely love these treats! The other one doesn't like any treats no matter how many options we try, so she is definitely an outlier. My cats love to lick these before eating them, so they last much longer than some other types of treats. Additionally, the packaging is solid and keeps the treats sealed and protected from any moisture. The best part (other than how much my kitties love them) is that they don't smell bad like so many other cat food options do! They just smell vaguely like chicken. And they're so low-calorie that I don't have to worry about overfeeding my cats when they want a second treat!

Take 1 star for price, it is a piece of chicken, freeze dried to a shape of a heart, placed on a stick. .50 a piece is like taking your kid to a candy store. But most cats like them. It has 1 ingredient: chicken. 7 of 8 like them. The other cat doesn't care for processed foods. Some lick for ever, some bite immediately. Like to give to friends with cats so they can share with them. Fun.

My cats go nuts when they see me lift the box, so much healthier than other cat treats. One of my cats meows the place down and up on her back legs trying to get it before I even get then open. My cats wont eat it from the stick so I remove the stick and they both wolf it down. More expensive than other treats but honestly its the only treats my cats will get now as even my fussy eater loves them

These are magical! Bought them initially as I thought a kitty lollipop was just the cutest but now have to have a constant supply. Our 4 year old rescue boy who’s completely deaf took a while to find his feet with us. I put some of the progress we’ve made the past year down to these! He now comes onto my lap and looks me dead in the eyes every evening to demand his paw pop, two things I wasn’t sure he’d ever have the confidence to do. There are clearly delicious but they also provide a great bonding experience. Thank you to who ever came up with this! His brother might have a few licks but generally prefers dreamies so the lucky baby gets 2!

Recommended to me by a friend, and they’ve been a massive hit. The first thing you notice is that the treat itself is shaped like a sweet little heart, which gave me a brilliant idea. My 9 year old niece is coming over for a family barbecue this weekend. She's hilarious, brilliant, and full of attitude, so if she gives me any grief, I’m planning to offer her one of these chicken flavored "lollipops." Don't worry, I'm not completely heartless. I'll be opening one up and eating it alongside her so we can share the experience. As for how they actually taste to a human? Watch this space... review update coming as soon as the barbecue is over and we've both tried them!

My two cats absolutely love these. As soon as they hear me get them out of the box, they will follow me everywhere waiting for me to open the packets and put them on the floor. Much easier buying them in this multi-packet box, they are post free and arrive within a day. Definitely value for money as far as my cats are concerned. Happy cats.
