Does it include a built-in thermometer?

Not included. Usually built-in thermometer are not precise enough, to get an accurate temperature reading we recommend using an infrared thermometer.

Which fuel does the Big Horn pizza oven use?

Pellet, Gas and Electric power. The gas burner and electric heating element need to be purchased separately.

Can I cook something other than pizza?

Yes! You can add an iron cast pan to avoid staining the pizza stone. It’s perfect for baking, grilling, roasting and searing meats, fish and vegetables with a smoky flavor.

How to avoid undercooked dough and overcooked toppings?

Practice makes perfect! Preheat with the pizza stone inside until it reaches 660°F (350°C). Rotate the pizza every 15-20 seconds. For thick dough, bake the crust first, then add toppings and bake again.

Incroyable

Franchement, le four à pizza de chez Big Horn Outdoors fait bien le job. Il chauffe vite, et une fois que t’as pris le coup de main, tu sors des pizzas vraiment bonnes, avec une pâte bien cuite et croustillante. Par contre, faut pas s’attendre à un truc ultra simple dès la première utilisation — il y a un petit temps d’adaptation pour gérer la température et la cuisson. Mais pour le prix, ça reste un très bon compromis si t’aimes faire des pizzas maison.

Ottimo forno per pizze

Forno per pizze veramente top. Facile da montare e da utilizzare. Prendendo tutti i prodotti necessari per l'accensione e il pellet giusto è facile da accendere e mettere in funzione. L'ho provato finora solo una volta, ancora ci devo prendere la mano per quanto riguarda il consumo di pellet ma in sostanza è un forno ottimo per qualità prezzo. Consigliato.

Wish I'd bought one years ago. 20 minutes to warm up and 80 seconds to cook a 12 inch pizza. 80 seconds, not 12 to 15 minutes in an oven, cheaper to run too. Brilliant.

Good Oven

Good little oven. A bit of a learning curve to get proper temps but overall really nice oven. I can't find a cover that fits it with the pellet hopper on. I was sent a link from the seller for a cover. Unfortunately the link does not work and brings me to Amazon.com instead of .ca
