It is very sturdy, unfortunately I don't have a puppy yet as I was scammed into thinking I was getting one! However I will not be returning because I'm still determined to find a puppy I can spoil to death. With that being said I added around 7-8 pounds to test the stability of the bag and it doesn't seem like it would bend out of shape and smash the puppy while carrying so that's a plus! On top of that the bag came exactly as pictured and also of great quality! The Fuchsia pink purse is perfect for any little spoiled pup, she definitely will be traveling in style with this bag! Definitely a statement piece! Another added amenity is there are additional zippers and side pockets. The bag has air pockets on the top and both sides so the puppy will be able to get a lot of air, it doesn't seem to be suffocating or stuffy. The bottom is also easy to remove for cleaning and the interior feels very easy to clean and wipe off and the color on the inside is appealing. Both pockets front and back are not big enough to hold anything, especially a wallet.Mostly, the reason I had to return was because the zippers are poorly sewn too close to the carrier and would jam and jam.Afraid to use too much pressure as it appeared a bit junky and zippers would break.
