Good product.

The system works ok when running, however the software as used on my Android devices appears to need some work. On a phone it interfered with another Bluetooth connected app even though the the EEG app had been closed, so had to be uninstalled from the phone. I put it on another Android device and it again uses battery when the app is closed, so confirming that it didn't close properly on the phone.

It's not audio-responsive -- you can't shut your eyes and it give you audible feedback alerts when your attention drifts; you have to stare at the app the WHOLE time as you're using it, and the visual "feedback" is not even feedback at all, so what use is this app and device at all? What kind of "meditation" is that? I got so angry about this that I took it outside and destroyed it. Why bother returning it? Everything needs returning. I'm tired of it. Make something that works, it's 2025.

I rarely write reviews, but SereniBrain absolutely deserves 5 stars. My wife and I have used a market-leading alternative for years, and while we always loved the idea of neurofeedback for meditation, we kept running into the same frustrating issues: unreliable connectivity, inconsistent performance, and a price that felt hard to justify. SereniBrain solved just about every one of those problems for us. The headband itself is comfortable, lightweight, and easy to adjust, so it fits securely without feeling intrusive during practice. The Bluetooth connection has been far more stable than what we were used to before, and that alone has made a huge difference. Meditation is hard enough without having to worry about dropouts, syncing problems, or whether the device is even recording properly. The app is also very well done. I like that it gives real-time feedback, tracks meditation states, and provides reports afterward so you can actually see your progress over time instead of guessing. It’s easy to connect, easy to use, and I appreciate that it supports both guided practice and more independent use. The ability to export reports is a great feature too. What impressed me most is that SereniBrain feels like a serious product built by people who understand both meditation and user experience. The sensors seem more reliable, the signal quality is stronger, and the overall experience is just smoother and more confidence-inspiring. The battery life has also been excellent. I also want to say something about the company itself: their customer support has been outstanding. They were responsive, thoughtful, generous with information, and genuinely seemed to care about helping me get the most from the product. In my case, some of the technical concerns I initially had turned out to be on my side, and their team was patient and helpful throughout. Bottom line: SereniBrain has been such a positive experience for us that we decided to buy a second unit. If you are serious about mindfulness, neurofeedback, focus training, or simply want a more reliable alternative in this category, I highly recommend it.

How can l buy more electrodes? I did not know this product needs new electrodes every 3 months.

After using this product for about two weeks, I can confirm that it lives up to its promise of stable connectivity. Unlike other headbands I've purchased from Amazon, this one doesn't suffer from poor connections or signal interruptions, which is crucial because getting interrupted during meditation is very frustrating. The design of the headband is quite attractive—it looks a bit large but is actually very lightweight and durable. I love meditating, and this headband has truly turned it into a daily habit. The app offers both guided meditation and free practice modes, each providing dynamic visual and auditory feedback that fully engages my senses to enhance focus. The visual feedback is quite interesting, featuring both natural landscapes and animated scenes. I've found this product to be an excellent tool for parent-child interaction. My child can calm down and meditate by watching the animations and listening to the guided cues, which is much more meaningful than playing mobile games! The assessment of meditation states is, in my opinion, very accurate, allowing you to check your meditation state down to the second. The newly added EEG data reports make evaluating your brain activity and thoughts both fun and simple, and there's no need for an additional subscription! When worn for extended periods, there might be marks on the forehead, but they disappear on their own. This is due to the raised electrodes contacting the skin, a situation I've encountered with other products as well, though it doesn't cause any discomfort. Overall, compared to other products, this meditation headband is reasonably priced, offers stable connectivity, and provides excellent customer service. I suggested adding more natural scene courses and support for external audio to enhance the experience, and they quickly responded, letting me know that these features are in development and expected to be released in October. I am really looking forward to it!

I’m absolutely delighted to have discovered SereniBrain, a meditation tool that fits my needs even better than MUSE. I especially appreciate its excellent connection stability, which allows me to truly relax during my meditation sessions without any interruptions—exactly what meditation should be all about. Beyond the built-in sessions, I really love that I can use any audio I prefer to track and assess my meditation state. What’s even better is that I can do nothing at all, I simply wear the headband, turn on the meditation tracking feature, and it accurately records my brainwave data. It’s fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised to find their "Raisin Meditation" guided session, which remind me of the book An 8 week program to free yourself from depression and emotional distress. This engaging and effective mindfulness practice shows that SereniBrain is dedicated to combining meditation theory with practical guidance. I’m excited to see what future updates will bring!
