Left it on for 5 mins and rinsed and scrubbed my feet using one of the callous remover tools that came in this package. I really didn't have to scrub too long or too hard because the gel had really removed so much of the dead skin off of my heel. This really was quick and easy to use. It was a little awkward to rinse off because the gel makes your feet so slippery. I tried wiping it off with a wet washcloth and then rinsing off the rest in the bathtub, but as soon as I placed my foot down in the bathtub I was sliding everywhere. So be careful. I have very calloused heels that have cracks. I have tried every type of powered foot smoothing, callous, dry and cracked heel device remover that's out there. Most of them are just too time consuming and they all barely removed any dead skin. This gel and the tools that come with it, leave your feet so very smooth. This pack only comes with 4 gloves/2 sets. You may want to buy additional disposable gloves to use with this. I washed mine off and will continue to reuse until I buy more gloves. You definitely don't want to apply or touch this stuff with your bare hands. If you do, make sure to wash your hands off well. I wish I would've found this stuff sooner.
