I bought this diffuser for my little girl's room - she suffers from a dry throat at night and I was hoping it would add a bit of much needed moisture into the air and prevent her from coughing.The good thing is the amount of steam it produces seems quite decent so I would suggest it has helped in that respect (hence the 2 stars and not 1!However, the quality of the product is seriously lacking and considering I paid £20, it's just cheap looking. The fake wood effect is not for me at all.I was also initially drawn to it due to the description saying it was really quiet... well it's not! It whirrs CONSTANTLY. And also has an added irritating sound of trickling water. Fortunately, my little girl is only 12 months old so probably isn't too phased by a bit of background noise but there is no way I could have it anywhere else in the house or it would drive me mad!To top it all off, water seems to sit underneath it so I would suggest there's a possible leak?!I really want to send it back but seeing as I've used it to give it a try, I'm assuming I can't! To me, it's £20 not well spent.
