This is fabulous have bought twice now, children loved making pictures and you can hang on window afterwards. They had lots of fun. There is gel and gel stickers to put spots on, so younger children can put spots on picture, the smaller spots are a bit more tricky best to use tweezers. Made 4 pictures and you get colour stencil to put underneath to help show you where the spots go and what colour to use

Bought as a gift and was very well received. Easy enough for a 5yr old to manage on their own and kept them entertained quietly!

My granddaughter absolutely loved making these! They are very pretty and simple, she is 8 but a 5 year old could do it easily. We had all the gems we needed and the whole family has a suncatcher now! Very pleased with the kit, worth every penny. One minor reservation and it is just mine, the finished items are paler than I expected - not a problem for my gd.

This is a wonderfully designed craft kit. This kept my 6 year old niece happy for hours. She loved the finished product, there are several in the pack, and we have all enjoyed the suncatchers at the windows. A great reasonably priced present.

This was an okay activity but about a quarter of the gems lost their sticky backing upon peeling them off the clear plastic sheeting. Not a huge problem as there were lots of gems but this may be a deal breaker for some as it meant there weren't enough of the correct colours to complete designs as instructed.

The kids loved it. They got super creative and even had sticky gems left over once they’d completed their designs. They were excited to hang in the window.

Finding screen-free activities that actually hold a child's attention can be surprisingly difficult. This one did. My child sat down intending to "just start one" and ended up spending a good chunk of the afternoon working on it. Between placing the gems and filling in the sections with the colored gels, there was enough detail to keep little hands busy without becoming frustrating. I liked that the gel dries fairly quickly, so there wasn't paint getting everywhere or projects sitting around for days waiting to dry. Once finished, the suncatchers looked great hanging in the window, which gave the whole activity a nice payoff at the end. This isn't a quick five-minute craft. It takes some patience and concentration, but that's actually part of what I liked about it. I could easily see this working well on a long flight, during a rainy weekend, or as a playdate activity where everyone has something to focus on. The only thing I'd change is the amount of gel paint included. We had enough to finish the projects, but I found myself encouraging my child not to use too much of certain colors because I wasn't completely sure there would be enough left for the remaining designs. For the price, getting four projects feels like good value. In fact, it kept my child engaged enough that I've already picked up a couple of the other kits in the series, although those will be gem only and won't have the gel detail. Either way, these kits are great for kids and even adults.
