Borna Foods Pistachio Butter (100% Pure Smooth, 170g)

This brand makes one of the best quality pistachio nut butters. I'm not keen on their CS but it is undeniable that their products are always superb quality and delish. Definitely recommend anything from Borna Foods.

So many of these have milk or cream in which I can't have but this one is vegan and delicious. Spreads beautifully and tastes great.

It taste like pistachio itself, if u like pistachio go for it. But not something for baking.

I used this to make my favourite pistachio ice cream. I mix a tiny bit, like quarter or third of this jar with a 1L tub of good vanilla ice cream and add crushed pistachio, and mix well, then freeze again. It’s very rich and delicious.

I have to say, I'm not overly impressed with this, especially with the price tag! It's got a very wet feel and is way too runny (if you knocked it over it would spill out). I also noticed its got a very oily texture when eaten too which isn't particularly pleasant, followed by the actual ground pistachios sticking all over your mouth and teeth. It's not a nice sensation at all. It personally needs some type of emollient to keep them mixed because although you don't have the oily layer floating at the top when the jar is opened, it is apparent and very unpleasant when eaten. Won't be repurchasing. Flavour was okay.

I have seen some reviews that say it’s not 100% pistacho, and although I think some of them are not, the smooth one is. So good, love it!

Absoloutely scrumptious and 100% pistachios. Shop around, as the one I bought was nearly two pounds more expensive than the same one I saw afterwards!
