Veggi Wash Concentrate 500 ml (Pack of 4)

I liked this product, because of peace of mind. It washes away all the nasty pesticides, fertilisers and chemicals used to spray on all our crops fruits, vegetables and salad items too. The amount of dust and dirt that comes out of washing with this solution is incredible. The fruit, vegetables and salads have a better taste which is more natural too. It's very economical, and a little goes a long way. It's totally natural and doesn't have any smell. Just measure out the required amount, add cold water as directed, and 1/2 minutes later rinse off. I personally soak the items in a bowl of cold water. If necessary use a veggie brush. Or an unused tooth brush. As soon as I buy items I use the solution rinse well and dry with a clean cloth and place them in clean bags in my fridge. It also gets rid of any wax on the fruit too. Using this gives me the peace of mind that the items I eat are fully clean and safe to eat, as just rinsing food items under running water won't get rid of all the nasty chemicals, pesticides, preservatives, dust, and handling by different people. Veggie Wash Fruit Too is Concentrated and therefore economical to use. I fully recommend this product. When you think of the food chain and the number of people who touch the that food we eat. Even when we go shopping in our supermarkets etc the amout of customers who touch an item and put back again, or the item may have fallen on a diry floor. Need I say any more. Buy it!

I eat and juice a lot of fruit, vegetables and salads and although I try and buy organic whenever possible (and when budget allows) I do still buy some conventional produce. Whichever I buy I always like to give it a good wash. I've tried home made vinegar and lemon juice washes, but these often over dried the fruit and would often find my carrots have shrivelled up a day or two later. This Veggi wash is a great product, fairly inexpensive, doesn't dry or mess my carrots and cleans even the most delicate leaves effortlessly. Definitely recommend!

After years repurchasing this same item, decided to leave a review. It’s effective. Easy to use and store. Used every single day at our house with fruits and vegetables. Brilliant product. Staple. We actually see stuff floating in water after soaking for at least 5 minutes, specially after washing strawberries!!

If you read general reviews on this topic then washing fruit and veg in water is as effective as using this (relatively expensive) food safe detergent. The key reason we use it was to keep down fruit flies in out house...we tried just soaking and rinsing in water and then the same using this product. We had less to no fruit flies (whose lava is often on fruit like bananas) using this product vs water (although water did reduce them a little).

I love this little bottle of fruit and veg wash. It's great value as I got the four pack and you only need one to two capsules mixed with water at a time so it will last for ages. I just soak my fruit or veg for a few minutes, and it's reassuring to know any pesticide has been removed. I have even used it for Portabello mushrooms as there is no taste, it does say to rinse after soaking. My spring onions and leeks look whiter than white. I wouldn't be without it now.

I have ordered this product many times but the last delivery concerns me. I have never before noticed a chemical smell and taste when cleansing the fruit/veg. Has something been added? I won’t order again, I threw a punnet of strawberries away due to the aftertaste. Tried again today with blueberries, it’s definitely different this batch.

Safe and non-toxic way to clean fruit and veg, easy to use - I usually add to water, soak fruit or veg for a few minutes, then use a brush or scrubby thing. Rinse and dry, and that's it. Worth the effort I think, and much more effective than vinegar etc. Very economical too, bought pack of 4 but still on first bottle about 9 months later.

I bought this soup for veggie and fruit first time .it is amazing.i used this to washing the grapes and it worked so perfect. The most important thing is that I like to use this to washing and putting the fruits and veggies I bought back, and let them dry for many days.this way, even if my child takes it to wash and eat it by themselves, it is very clean.
