great product
I bought this to make wedding cookies for my daughter's wedding and she wanted a deep, rich chocolate flavor. This cocoa did the trick. It is dark dark dark in color, but also has a great taste.

Great for hot chocolate. Super rich flavor
I got this for hot chocolate and chocolate milk. I am a fanatic of a nesquik and chocolate milk for over 30 years. This one is really good. It has a nutty Woody slightly smoked flavor as hot chocolate. I highly suggest you use this for hot chocolate. To me the Hershey's cocoa powder is better as chocolate milk. However, it's like splitting hairs because at this point it's just super good bs super good ๐คท๐ฝ

Excellent results
I make a pretty fantabulous almond flour triple chocolate muffin with cacao powder, that gets inhaled. This black cocoa powder has taken the muffin in to orbit. I will never go back to simple cacao powder for muffins again. Just that slight hint of bitterness made a vital taste improvement. I will experiment with other baked goods as soon as the clamour for more muffins subsides. A little pricy but what isnโt these days?! Mixes in well, and overall is worth the price for the added complexity it brings to baking. This stuff is wasted on Oreos ๐คญ

Tastes like Oreos!!
Highly recommend for baking, ninja creamis, or even yogurt--this tastes so much like oreo cookies when you add some sweetness! It mixes well and goes well with my protein ice creams--I've had no discomfort eating it as well. Highly recommend if you're loking to add some deep chocolate flavors to your baking or ice cream.

Tastes like OREO!
This black cocoa is AMAZING! It legit makes things taste identical to oreo! I use it to level up shakes, bake Oreo cakes, or add it to chocolate cake for a deeper color! You don't need as much as regular cocoa so it seems to last a lot longer.

Good cocoa, pouch not so much
It's black, it's cocoa, tastes like chocolate. I'll use it for specialty baked goods I want the black color in. The envelope, tho economical to package, is not the best for use; it's difficult to seal once any cocoa powder gets in the zipper part, and very dusty if trying to pour because the powder gets static cling to the pouch and falls at different rates. I prefer Hershey's plastic containers with lids, so if I continue to get this item, I'll transfer it into one of those (carefully because it'll be messy to do from the pouch!). Lacking Star because of pouch and a little pricey for cocoa powder, but good product. Texture is the same as any other cocoa powder, very fine and light.

Deep, rich cocoa
Love the cocoa. The packaging, not so much. I always spill it if I leave it in the pouch. As soon as I open it, I pour into a lidded container. But the cocoa is great, deep and rich flavor.

Not the very blackest, but easier to use than the very blackest and quite good.
It's good. Not actually the blackest black cocoa I've ever encountered, but that was commercial-quality black cocoa that was actually something you wouldn't want to use straight, ever. I had a tough time using it all up over years. This stuff is very dark, not true black cocoa (but for most home-cook applications, that's a good thing, not a bad thing). You can actually use this on its own without it being terrible, which you can't say of true black cocoa. I got it because I wanted a truly dark-chocolate Buche de Noel, and that's what I used it to make. Would also like to make a nice very dark-chocolate Swiss Roll. For *really* black cocoa, I have obtained it in the past from King Arthur Flour. Not sure if they still carry it. As I said, for most home cooks, real black cocoa is overkill, something you're more likely to mess up with, because you absolutely shouldn't use it by itself. This stuff is quite good and can be used without worry.
