This was gift for a friend who is a photographer and want to be able to take pictures while hiking. He is so happy receiving this gift.

So fun however one must be patient when letting the drone calibrate because these smart folk figured out a way to make this impossibly tiny drone sit still in double digit winds !! Lovely after crashing two others!

Flys super solid and consistent. Only problem is the sensors won’t allow it to fly in busy areas with a lot of things on the ground or in bad lighting…

First we bought my kid a 70 dollar drone in Amazon and it was total trash. This drone is awesome so far. Love having the three batteries. It's super simple for using your hand. And flying it from the phone is easy (iphone). It's super light weight. For non professional uses I think the video quality is really good. The landing pad was kind of lame but whatever... We just won't use it. And we got a hard carrying case to protect it more so. Only actual bummer is the remote with screen would be cool, but it's like another 200 bucks or something. And my 10 year old was able to use it.

Very versatile small drone. Bought two more as gifts. Follow Me mode is fun and helpful with videos for my business. Camera/video quality is incredible.

This was a huge hit with my son! I highly recommend if doing any outside sport that you would like to record yourself.

DJI should make very clear that without the DJI remote control, the drone is nearly useless. You can control it with the app ... but the range is less than 200 feet! With the remote, the range is potentially miles. It is fine if they sell it without the remote, for people who already have a remote or other specific situations. But they should mostly sell it bundled with the remote, and include prominent language like "use the DJI remote for best experience." This is a $200 drone that becomes a ~$350 drone when you add the remote. It seems sleazy and deceptive, because they are trying to trick you, or trap you, into buying the drone, then realizing you can't use it without the remote, so you go ahead and also buy that. Vs if it was clear the whole time, they might have fewer initial sales, but they would not have grouchy reviews like this. DJI, your choice.

This drone is very impressive for what you pay. I would recommend this to my friends.
