updated review July 1, 2026 The only thing that I would change is, it is expensive to continue to buy it. My cat ended up, loving this that she eats it more often than not. On that note, I will buy it again but chewy.com has better pricing for a bigger bag, if you do the subscription. otherwise than that it’s a great product. My cat loves it but after reading the other reviews, I can see why people said it was kind of expensive, especially with the way the economy is right now. I saw some reviews where it did say you did not get very many of the treats for what you paid for. But it is so worth it, I am very in tune to making sure my cat gets the best nutrients which saves on vet bills. as far as the questions how much you get, there’s not a lot of treats, but they’re huge pieces. I have just been cutting up the pieces for my cat and it will last you a lot longer than you think. and if this is anything like food, it’s going by volume not how much is in the actual bag, but it will last you a long time because you have to cut them up. They are very big pieces. The flavor is great because I had bought the freeze dried treats from Costco. My cat did not like them. The minute I gave her these she ate them up and then when she saw it on the kitchen counter, she even jumped on the counter to get it off the counter to eat them. So on that note, I’m gonna give flavor a five star. I would definitely recommend this, especially if you have a picky eater when it comes to freeze dry. I would definitely buy these again, I like the idea how the company showed how exactly they freeze dry these treats and how they stand behind it

My cat is extremely food-obsessed and never says ‘no’ to a treat, so I wasn’t surprised when she loved these. They’re your standard-sized chicken hearts, so it’s a great treat for a cat who INHALES food/treats to slowly chew on and take her time with. SIZE: I will say that since the chicken hearts are massive compared to standard kitty treats (obviously lol), you only get 8-10 treats per bag (that’s still being generous). PRICE: If ~8 treats for that price is a concern, you’d definitely get more bang for your buck with the freeze-dried minnows which are basically the same price as this but have way more treats in the bag. As a result, I wouldn’t agree with the claim that these chicken hearts are good for training as the standard reward, that is unless these are your ‘high-value’ rewards which you can use sparingly. It’s a broad claim on the bag but makes sense if you know how to use them for training! They’re also really good as a healthy meal topper and are a bit slimy for being freeze-dried, but that’s really more of a personal observation than a deterrent. In the end, I’d probably purchase these as a meal topper/raw-feed addition or a special treat rather than an everyday snack.

Got these for a friends' cat; dropped one in his bowl, he immediately recognized it as edible protein and went for it without hesitation. A dog will gulp something down but cats seem to be delicate/finicky. No extended sniffing or figuring it out this time, he went right for it. The hearts are relatively large vs. typical small vittles, so they aren't going down in one go but I'm sure he thought it was quite the treat. Being freeze dried, they don't seem to be tough or messy. He's reacted the same way each time, so I'll buy the larger bag. Seems to be his favorite treat so far.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My 11-month-old European Maine Coon absolutely loves these treats! They're her favorite reward, and they've been incredible for training. Within just one week, she learned to high five, fist bump, sit, stand, and even "talk" on command because she was so motivated to earn one. I also love that they're made from a single ingredient and are packed with high-quality protein, which is perfect for a growing giant breed like a Maine Coon. I feel good knowing I'm rewarding her with something healthy instead of treats filled with unnecessary ingredients. If you have a food-motivated cat, especially a growing kitten or large breed, these are definitely worth trying. They've become a staple in our house!

Great cat treat that is one healthy ingredient, Chicken! Very chewable and great for training, treat or reward after play time. My cat prefers Fish treats over other proteins, but she enjoys this Chicken treat as well, so the Chicken Heart is a good mix up and perfect for her health.

Both of my cats (a senior and a kitten) go wild for these! I actually chop them up or break them up with my fingers, it makes the cats think they are getting more. I appreciate this affordable, single-ingredient treat. Win win!

The bag is quite small and overpriced, with very few treats included. While my cats generally enjoyed them, the pieces are a bit too large, making them difficult to chew and potentially unsafe to swallow. It can bit smelly but if as long as you don't sniff it or mind the smell of meats. It would have at least 5 stars if these treats such aren't so overpriced and in an tiny bag no bag than 7 or 8 inch long!

One cat loves them the other completely ignored it. I wish more came in the bag, which is the only reason I deducted a star, ( it’s half empty or full), or a bigger size was offered. No odor, but oily residue ( which is ok) easy to break apart but moist.

My cats go crazy for these! Healthy, single ingredient, and great for training just break bigger pieces.

It’s real chicken heart dehydrated. My cats just love it like crazy! Good company. Highly recommended.

The product itself is fine, though there are hardly any pieces of heart for the price. Might be worth it for around 300 rupees and that would still be expensive -- just check with your local butcher

Very affordable and my cat loves it

I gave my 2 cats this for the first time last week. At first they were very sceptical of the treats as they’ve never had them before but both of them LOVED it after staring at it for a bit. I am going to cut each treat in 2 from now on though (there are not a lot in the packaging) to try to make them last longer. This is not a big deal at all considering how big the treats are. I WILL be purchasing this again.
