This laptop had not had a 'working' battery for some time. It just would not hold a charge. The new one was perfect, fit exacly, charged easily, and gives over 2 and a half hours battery life now. For people with modern laptops with much longer battery life this mnay seem trivial, but this is as good as this laptops battery has EVER been! Highly reccomended.

Item arrived well packaged and in perfect safe condition. I was able to install the battery flush. The material quality of the battery was very durable and didn't feel like a cheap 3rd party build. Definitely worth the price. Battery life is just as long as the original.

It seems that obtaining a reliable battery is entirely pot-luck, irrespective of the vendor and judging from the one-star reviews Ninja is no exception. However 69% of reviews are favoured with five stars (a good score for a battery) and I am adding my review in that category. This is now the fourth replacement battery for my Toshiba Laptop C850-1GL that I’ve bought in the last two weeks. The other three (NOT from NinjaBatt) all had problems varying from an inability to charge to cutting power completely every few minutes. My battery app also showed two of them to have up to 10% less full charge capacity than design capacity suggesting they had been used, returned and sold on again. This NinjaBatt battery, on the other hand, actually smelled brand new. Clearly it had been in the sealed wrapping since leaving the factory. The full charge capacity is also the same as the design capacity – 100% - as you would expect with a brand new battery. It arrived nicely sealed and boxed with instructions and a card with whom to contact if not satisfied (if you are not sure about battery compatibility you could try calling NinjaBatt on 424-226-4606) So far I’ve only had eight full cycles using the Power Saver Plan but so far, so good. If I manage several hundred usable cycles from just 6 cells I will be happy. Power on this plan at a capacity of 48,000 mWh lasts for over four hours before 20% is left (no gaming or watching videos). PS - It’s always a good idea to check that full charge capacity on a supposedly new battery really is 100%. The battery app I use is a small and free utility called BatteryInfoView, available for download from the internet. Windows XP onwards will also generate a detailed battery report. Typing powercfg /batteryreport from the command prompt gives a full battery report saved as battery-report.html. Enter powercfg /batteryreport in a search engine for more information on this very informative but little known Windows battery report generator.

Does the job, works well and seems to last longer than the original.

Don't waste your money charge lasts about 30 mins from full to empty,was as bad as the original one I got it to replace!

Gives an okayish battery life - can’t expect it to be as good as the original. This is the review from just 2 days of use. Will update after a few weeks/month.
