I really enjoyed The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. This game is a fantastic entry in the Zelda series and easily deserves a 10/10 from me. It keeps the charm, creativity, and adventure that makes Zelda so special, but adds a fresh twist by letting you play as Princess Zelda in a way that feels unique and exciting. One of the best parts of the game is the Echo ability. Being able to create copies of objects and enemies makes the gameplay feel creative and different from a traditional Zelda game. Instead of only relying on standard weapons or items, the game encourages you to think, experiment, and solve problems in your own way. Puzzles, exploration, and combat all feel more open because there are so many different ways to approach each situation. The world is beautiful and full of personality. The art style is colorful, clean, and charming, and it gives the game a fun storybook-like feeling. Every area feels enjoyable to explore, and the game does a great job making you want to keep moving forward to see what is next. It has that classic Zelda feeling of adventure, mystery, and discovery. I also really liked the balance between being accessible and still feeling rewarding. Solving puzzles with different Echoes feels satisfying, and finding new ways to use them keeps the gameplay interesting throughout the whole experience. Playing as Zelda is also a major highlight. Wasn't sure what to expect going in, but I ended up loving this game. Quick to learn, a bit harder to master. Had a lot of fun playing Princess Zelda for once!!

Wonderfully nostalgic whilst incorporating fun elements from newer games like BOTW and TOTK.

I gave this as a gift to a lifelong Zelda fan. In this game you actually play as Zelda. Must have for a Zelda fan/collector.

I know a lot of people didn’t like this game, but personally I loved it. The change up in gameplay mechanics was refreshing as it makes you think more than react. Plus it was a cool spin on normal Zelda games. If you’re looking for a fun game that makes you think and problem solve, but not too much, this game is for you!

One of the best Zelda games to date, and by far most creative. After playing and beating the game in 15hrs, here are my thoughts: Dungeons- WAY to tedious, repetitive. The only puzzles that are truly amazing is the final “dungeon” of the game. HOWEVER, Zelda’s special powers fix that problem by providing thousands of ways to beat each challenge. Mechanics- Amazing. It’s so fun to spawn a bunch of bats and watch them pick apart enemies. The ability to use link for a moment makes him so mysterious and valuable- it also encourages you to want to upgrade his perks even more. This upgrading system allows for stronger weapons, and when playing as Zelda- more “echos” to use. Story- As far as LoZ goes, this story is average. The rift is an interesting gimmick, but gets old after awhile. However, this game offers one of the BEST boss fights of the series, it’s a long, cinematic masterpiece. In conclusion, get this game, ESPECIALLY if you have a switch 2.
