Can i download extra ram?

Anything claiming you can download RAM is very unsafe and could allow a virus to imbed into your system.

If I buy one now and the other later will it still work in dual channel?

Yes probably but their is no guarrantee that they will pair properly. That is why they are sold in pairs. Always check the motherboard spec's to see which slots to use. My current 4 slot board recommends using A2, B2 first, others recommend A1, B1 first, so it depends on the design of the board. Also make sure the board supports XMP.

Is this a quad channel ram?

The one's I bought was dual channel... However wont recommend to buy these or buy now as Samsung is being to produce more memory and prices should drop drastically. For reasons not to recommend these is as I bought 3200MHz but XMP failed even at 2800...

What are the timings for the 1x16GB 3200?

the only number you need to consider is C16 witch is good
