Review: Great little tool - I had the older version that was thinner and square but I lost it. So I got this newer model. I only just got it and it works well. I use it with my Dell xps13 to connect it with a large 4k uhd monitor via the HDMI port, a keyboard and mouse (the mouse plugs into the keyboard) via the USB port and internet via the ethernet port. I like that it has a spare USB-C port which the old one didn't. My laptop, like most only has 1 USB-C port so the fact that you don't lose that when using this device is a bonus(btw, this cannot be used for charging, you can not have power coming from a USB-C cable and pass it through this adaptor). The spare ports I don't use are display port and an old fashion vga port. The USB-C cable retracts by twisting the bottom half, it is about 5 inches or 13 cm long which is much longer than the old one which I prefer as the all the cables are bit more out of the way. Overall good product but I wish it was cheaper. Great to just have to plug in power and one adaptor in the morning. You can plug in your 45w, 60w or whatever your laptop uses to this, plus you get 2 extra USB 3 ports. It will also work as a straight USB C to 2-port USB 3 hub if you don’t need to use the power pass-thru, but if that’s all you need there are cheaper hub solutions. But this is a very nifty device. **Q: Does this allow for dual extended monitors (1 hdmi, 1 vga)?** A: YES. Windows (enterprise) Dell Latitude laptop, 1st monitor vga, extended display second monitor HDMI. LAN cable and USB keyboard connected. all 4 ports worked as expected. NO for MacBook Pro. only one of those 2 HDMI/VGA ports worked at a time. and also the usb port won't work. LAN connected ok. **Q: Has anyone used this with a non-Dell laptop? I love the idea of having all my adapters in one device but only if it will work on my Lenovo!** A: Currently using on my Lenovo Y900 Laptop. Haven't had any issues with Ethernet, USB or HDMI. I have not used the VGA yet though and dont think I will anytime soon. **Q: Will it work with dell xps 13 9350?** A: Yes, I bought mine for use with my XPS 13 9350. It's important to note that the ethernet interface is full duplex only. This will not work with a half duplex hub. It will also fail to function with 2 pair cables. High price. USB c connector lead to laptop a tad short. Only has one USB port which is a little annoying but does have hdmi and USB c ports which is a positive.
