We have the Tripp Trapp chair, had the Newborn seat, and have now bumped up to the Baby chair. Our little sweetheart loves to sit up to eat now and this chair holds her in well without being too constricting. With the (third party) chair pad in place, it's a little tricky sometimes to get her legs in without damaging her, but a little practice has proved sufficient. I'd also note that depending on your child's size, you might want to get a set of straps to hold them in more securely - certainly we don't leave ours unattended if she's not strapped in. We also bought third-party straps as the Tripp ones are crazy expensive, but overall everything works.

So far so good. A bit hard to get out babies legs inside but if he sits he sits well and doesn't complain.

Just thought it was a different color

I’m glad to have got the baby set on a slight discount on Amazon! I had been scouring Facebook marketplace for a secondhand set however they were still being sold for around £30. I paid a little more on here for brand new and the matching colour to my Stokke trip trap chair. The colour is perfect and it’s easy to connect to the high chair. I’ve really loved having the Stokke trip trap newborn set so that my could sit at the table with us for dinner and this is the next step!
