Very well-made and looks it. Small, but is sized to go anywhere in the house. Great gift for readers (the reason I bought one for myself), teachers, librarians, researchers, etc. I gifted my Mom with one, who is an avid reader. Lovely color and material. Way too diminutive. Looks like a toy. Not worth the price at all. I have seen better. Also my error in reading dimensions. I thought measurements were in inches, turns out it is centimetres
