For how long can you keep ready yogurts in the fridge? I have a yogurt maker with 7 jars so I'm hoping they can last a week

Since making my own yogurt my consumption has risen to 2 litres per week so I don't really know the answer to the question. I'm not sure that homemade yogurt without any preservative would be safe after more than a few days

Are these cultures suitable for use with soya milk?

Yes, you can use it with soya milk and it can be recultured(ready soya yogurt+milk) in case that the soya milk is pure(with no additives and preservatives) or homemade. However, if the soya milk is not pure, recultivation is not recommended.

How much per litre of milk do you use?

It states on the inside packaging that the culture makes from 2 litres to 1 gallon, however my electric yogurt maker only holds 1 gallon and rather than mess about measuring/weighing half a packet I use the whole thing. This appears to make no difference as the yogurt is still as you would expect - thick and creamy.

Does this work using an easiyo yoghurt maker?

I used the UHT milk, no need to heat up milk put in easiyo container after filling the outer container to level with boiling water, left 1 day then put in fridge, turned out lovely not as thick as shop brought hope that helps
