Lonely Planet Central Asia: Detailed Itineraries | Travel Like a Local | Insider Tips | Covers Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and more (Travel Guide)

Bought for the section on Uzbekistan which seems very comprehensive and informative

Unfortunately I didn't take this trip but no doubt this book would have served me well. I'm well travelled and have always taken a Lonrey Planet along.

Disappointed not to be able to buy the updated version as some of the data in the version purchased is now 5+ years old. Otherwise very useful during a 3+ week trip to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. I recommend waiting of the updated version to be available (which was published in 2023?)

This guide doesn’t disappoint. Packed full of all the need-to-know information about travelling to this part of the world.

The content was good, very detail. But there are 2 concerns: 1. The google map mark is just nearby, not exactly location, is there any reason behind that? 2. Couldnt see any footnote for the whose book? Any reason why? Thanks

I am going there later this year to Uzbekistan. A great book to take with me!

I was planning a holiday/ trip to Central Asia and this book helped me to choose the places not to miss . It had valuable information about literally everything I needed for my trip . A great help and source of information.

I have used Lonely Planet Guide books for decades. I like the format and how it covers countries. Great guide for the budget traveler.

As informações são boas, mas o livro é muito pobre em imagens. Comprei-o pensando que tivesse várias fotografias, mas as únicas existentes são as das páginas iniciais. Fiquei completamente decepcionado com a compra.

Good one

Not the best guide. Sometimes missing a little bit of history and prices not uploaded at all. Although, really usefull while you are travelling!
