EQQUALBERRY Bakuchiol Plumping Face Serum - Retinol Natural Alternative for Sensitive Skin, with Niacinamide & Hyaluronic Acid, Pore & Wrinkle Korean Skin Care (1.01oz / 30ml)

I purchased this serum as an anti-aging defense, as Bakuchiol is supposed to be a great anti-aging, retinol alternative. I am prescribed retinol but admit that, as a nurse who works long 12-hour shifts, I am often too tired to wash my face and apply it at bedtime. This serum has white ceramide flakes in it that you can visibly see, which melt into your skin as you apply it, and are essential for your skin’s moisture barrier. I apply a few drops of serum to my forehead, each cheek, my chin, and my nose, and then I rub it in evenly on my entire face. I apply a few drops to my hands, rub them together once or twice, and then apply the serum to my neck and décolleté. The serum is thick, spreads easily, and absorbs well. It almost has a slight “bounce” to it when you are rubbing it in. It is very easy to use. Regarding results, my skin appears more plump and fresh after using this serum. I haven’t noticed any of my fine lines and wrinkles worsening since using this product; in fact, I feel as if there is some improvement. While I do find the price fair, I wish that the bottle was a little bit bigger. I am subscribed to this product every 3 weeks, and I would say that one bottle lasts approximately 1 month with once daily use. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to dip their toes into the world of Bakuchiol, and who is looking for a great, anti-aging serum.

I really liked this serum. It's not really runny. It's thick and when I put it on my face it does not run down. It has the consistency of a light moisturizer. I've have bought it twice and found it to not have a strong scent. I plan on continuing to purchase it. Anytime I've purchased bakuchiol products the bakuchiol comes in little white balls mixed into the product. When you apply it to your skin they dissolve as you rub it in. This product does the same. It does not contain retinal so you can apply it in the morning or night. I use retinal before bed because it can react in the sun. The bakuchiol is safe to use before going outside. My skin does not feel sticky after I let the product sink in, especially after applying my moisturizer. I like how my skin looks immediately after I apply it and over time I feel it has made a difference and it has been effective. I have normal skin. Not too oily and not too dry. Also not overly sensitive but I'm careful about what I use. I'm 55 with a few lines. I can even put on a sunscreen after the moisturizer. You just have to let the products dry and sink in before applying the next. I feel it's a good value for the money and a great quality product. I wish it came in a larger size.

This is my first experience with this brand, but I thought it was pretty popular in Korea with the swimming pool toner, and I love Korean skincare in general for how gentle and effective it is. This serum has popping ceramide capsules, and so the texture isn’t nice until you rub it in well. Once you’ve done that though, it’s a nice nourishing feel. Not greasy. It smells a bit floral, in a fresh hydrangea kind of way, not artificial. I assume that’s from the plant derived ingredients themselves, not added fragrance. The color also is stated to be natural, not added. The dropper is really my only problem with this. The rubber bulb at the top is rather firm and you don’t get as much in the pipette with each squeeze as I feel would be convenient. That said, I’m looking forward to continue using it. I have rosacea and dehydrated combo skin, but this is working very nicely. No irritation so far! Excellent price for the product.

It has only been a week and its too early to conclude. It moisturizes and keeps your face soft. no other changes.

Really love this serum! It’s super hydrating and leaves your skin looking plump and juicy! It doesn’t have a greasy feel or film to it either! You can actually feel little particles or granules in it when you rub it into your face which is interesting but they dissolve eventually! It smells like taro potato chips lol! I’m not sure what’s in it that makes it smell that way but it smells like those with a bit more medicinal tint. It didn’t irritate my skin or cause a reaction and I have very sensitive skin w/ rosacea! I would highly recommend this! 5/5 stars!

I have used this product for a month now and have seen improvements in my skin. I have combination skin, which is also generally quite senaitive, and I use this every day, day and night. It does appear as it has been used/not ful when first unvoxed, but having seen other reviews, I think the bottle is just the wrong size for the contents. Loving the product so far and not having any negative reactions. I got bad reactions from retinol which is why I gave this a shot. Give it a try if you're trying to avoid products like retinol.
