This is a fantastic bandage for bed sores. It stays in place and offers a wonderful relief from pain. Expensive, but worth every penny.

Best bandage I've found!
I had another melanoma removed and wasn't looking forward to all the dressing changes using separate nonstick pads and coverall bandage. These provide the best of both worlds! The nonstick area is padded pretty thick and the adhesive or 'silicone' around the edges so far works great. Sticks great, but not peeling off my skin either. The bandage is very flexible and having the cut-out points in the middle, make it so much more comfortable when the area moves and bends. After sleeping on it all night, the one side did pull up slightly, but adhered right back down. I also like it is not to bulky and I was even able to wear leggings instead of sweats today! Definitely a great product I would purchase again!

Excellent Product for Pressure Sores, But Watch Out for Price Fluctuations
I recently tried the MedVance TM Silicone - Bordered Silicone Adhesive Foam Dressing, and I must say it's one of the best products available in the market, along with its competitor, Medline OptiFoam. These dressings have some remarkable qualities that make them highly effective for wound care, especially for severe pressure sores. One standout feature of these dressings is the softer adhesive border. Unlike other brands, the MedVance TM Silicone dressings can securely grasp and maintain their hold even in folds, wrinkles, and irregular, highly contoured areas of the body. This is particularly important for patients who have wounds in challenging locations, such as the sacral area, as the dressing provides a secure and comfortable barrier, promoting healing and preventing further damage. It also works well with collagen ointments, moisture barrier gel/cream, substrate powders, alginates, and even highly viscous medical honey. The overall performance of the dressings is excellent. The foam pad is of high quality, providing optimal absorption and cushioning for the wound. The silicone adhesive is gentle on the skin and does not cause irritation or discomfort during removal. I found the dressings easy to apply, and they stayed in place even during movement and daily activities. However, one aspect that can be frustrating is the price fluctuations and delayed delivery. At times, it feels like a bait and switch tactic, as the price listed at $14.99 upon purchase suddenly increases sharply to $18.99, and then immediately shipment gets delayed for over nearly two (2) weeks! This inconsistency in pricing and delivery can be quite annoying, especially when you rely on the product for ongoing wound care which could develop into severe infection or even death. Despite the pricing and delivery delay concerns, the MedVance TM Silicone - Bordered Silicone Adhesive Foam Dressings still remains an exceptional product. They are highly effective for severe pressure sores, thanks to their soft adhesive border and superior performance. If you can overlook the occasional price fluctuations and delayed shipments, these dressings are a reliable choice for even the most complex wound care. In summary, the MedVance TM Silicone - Bordered Silicone Adhesive Foam Dressings, along with Medline OptiFoam, are among the best products available for wound care. The softer adhesive border allows them to maintain a secure hold in folds, wrinkles, and irregular areas of the body. However, be cautious of price fluctuations and delayed deliveries, as they can be frustrating especially if you need the adhesives right away. Overall, these dressings are a top-notch option for severe pressure sores and provide excellent wound care support.

Improvisation!
Used for wound care on a surgical site on my husband's forehead/scalp. Perfect solution for unusual shaped wound with graft- cut in half- rounded shape perfect for that area, comfortable and only needed every other day.

Great Bordered Adhesive foam Dressing for sensitive skin
Very effective foam dressings. Many sizes. Helpful on sensitive skin as adhesive gentle and stays on.

Great Size and Shape, but . . .
I was amazed to find this perfectly shaped bandage for my knee. However, after about16 hours, my skin began itching insanely. Removing the bandage revealed a soft, tacky glue-like substance, and the skin beneath was bright red, and painfully abraded, requiring separate medical attention. The package doesn't show the name of the adhesive, so I don't even know what to avoid in the future. It's a wonderful large joint bandage for those without adhesive sensitivities. Unfortunately, it's not for me.

Plain Bandage no Silver
I thought when I read this one that it had Silver in it and I realised when I got it that I must have picked the wrong one so I am disappointed, it’s because I did a search and it came up with other bandages not just the Silver ones.

A Premium Product.
I use this product to treat a variety of sores on the back of my wife. I have access to another, and i think lesser, brand paid for by the government. This product seems to ameliorate her sores, over time curing the infection. The free ones just don't. This judgement on the basis of three months of application of dressings. So this is my impression on the basis of experience (not any medical knowledge i admit): these dressings have a beneficial effect. And the government-sponsored nurse applying these dressings prefers them to what is issued by our home care plan. Worth the extra cost to cure a loved one i think.

Waterproof and don't stick to the wound
Having managed to put a large gash in my shin, that couldn't be stitched I was dreading having dressing that stuck to it. These sounded good, and as I knew i had to take a risk and put something over the wound, while expensive I decide these sounded the best option. They were well worth the money. Having started with the 20 x 10cm size, I'm now down to the 5 x 5cm ones. I've taken showers while wearing them and they haven't come off. They normally last about 4 to 5 days before the edges do start to lift, but to be honest that is a good interval to be changing a dressing at (unless there is a lot of erudite then change it more often). They have never stuck to the wound, or hurt to remove. It was a little unnerving the first time, as the pad has glue on it that means it does gently adhere to the skin around the wound, but that just helps support the wound itself and isn't a problem when you remove the dressing. I may use standard plasters on really minor cuts, but I have a feeling that I will be keeping some of the smaller ones in my medical cabinet and using them a lot more often.
