I purchased this in mid November. I wanted to give it 1 month of use before giving my honest opinion. I have tried bio oil, other types of vitamin E oils and they have not lived up to their claims. I came across this item and decided since it was not an oil and instead a silicone scar gel, it might work better. To my surprise, after the 2nd week, I started to notice my old and new scars lightening. In order to achieve these results, you must apply it twice a day and every day. The silicone does not stay sticky and dries up quickly. There are no smell. It comes out as a clear thick gel. The tube is small, but a little goes a long way; the quality it there. It is now the end of December and I still have enough probably to last me until mid or end of January and you bet I will be ordering another one to continue to lighten up older scars. After reading about scar treatments, i didnt have my hopes up that anything would work. When i was in my 20s i gained nearly 50lbs in 3 months. This was hard on my body and left tons of stretch marks, mostly on my thighs. Due to the location of the dark stretch marks, i wont post photos(i may crop some of my before/after on other areas later since i didnt start on all of them at the same time). I used this with a silicone stick once it dried, then topped with vitamin e oil(15,000iu 2.2oz). I was not expecting the scars to noticably lighten within days as its supposed to take weeks for full effectiveness. But due to the results of my test, i am now using this across all stretch marks to lighten them too. It absorbs quickly, stays on all day(at least topped with a thicker silicone stick and vitamin e), and has no noticably scent. My skin is very sensitive, yet I tolerated this in areas with more sensitive skin with no redness, pain or itching. Despite being effective, i didn't even notice it was on my skin all day and night. I will definitely continue using this. I tested this, mederma, and a silicone stick in 3 different areas. The mederma had no noticeable effects within a week. Both this and the silicone stick had noticeable lightening alone, but this and the stick combined it was nearly miraculous honestly.

Great product. It works very well and I can see the differences on my scars. It's very gentle and is easy to use. Also it is not very expensive so I really like this gel.

I've sampled several different scar, wrinkle creams, ointments and oils and this is by far the most effective. It's a substantive enough gel to spread easily without the thickness or stickiness which tends to take a long time to absorb. MItgary Advanced Scar Silicone Gel spreads quickly and evenly and causes no skin irritation. It's a quality product at an affordable price and its great value for my money. Its results are visible with consistent use and also allows me to put makeup on with affecting its texture or appearance. The gel is light, free of scent or perfume and a little bit goes a long way. I happily recommend it highly.

Just started using this product after my orthopedic doctor confirmed that I’m allowed to apply scar gel now that all the sterile strips have come off naturally. I like the texture of this scar gel — it’s smooth, silky, and medium‑viscosity. The gel spreads easily and absorbs quickly into the skin. The ingredients support skin‑barrier repair (water, glycerin, trehalose, panthenol, allantoin, and vitamin E) as well as skin‑texture improvement and collagen remodeling (retinol). I’m looking forward to seeing a smoother skin texture over months and gradual fading of pigmentation.

I’m a 78 year old male, reasonably healthy but probably get a few extra bumps, bruises, scratches and cuts primarily on my forearms where I’ve noticed my skin seems to be exceptionally thin and exceptionally vulnerable to bumps, bruises and minor cuts. Found Mitgary gel on Amazon as well as 2 or 3 similar products but Mitgary is the one I keep reordering. First, it just works. Second, I hate sticky but Mitgary goes on easily, penetrates my skin and drys with no stickiness or tackiness. Then it just works, your skin gets rehydrated cuts, blemishes scars disappear. And finally, it gets rid of wrinkles, while overall I feel I’m a surprisingly young looking 78 again my forearms skin is surprisingly wrinkled, but just 3 pea size amounts massaged into my forearms makes scars and wrinkles disappear. Mitgary is not your Dollar Store hand cream but it works, no negative reactions, and is very competitively priced vs. other silicone scar gels.

Good product but follow instructions or you will burn the skin with the product.
