Can this be installed on an angle as the roof of my tank is pitched? Thanks.

I think it would work just fine. The float that runs the dial is hanging from a string. As long as the angle is not too steep and you position the direction of the gauge so that the string is not too crooked on the spool it should work. It is not that expensive and would be worth a try. It is cheaper to order it directly from the company.

The hole needs to be 32 mm or ~1.25" min.

it could but i use it for a 2500 gallon water tank
