I LOVE this thing and constantly have it with me. I lost one and had to buy a second asap. As a heavy stimmer I like my stim toys to have a lot of weight and resistance otherwise my brain gets bored and this thing delivers! The magnets are STRONG. They provide great resistance when sliding and keep the 3 separate layers together well. The layers can come apart, but rarely will by accident while using. The weight makes it feel substantial and satisfying to hold. It's 2.6 oz, a little heavier than an airpods case. The track slides through 4 levels and makes a satisfying click as it shifts between them. Some reviews complain about it being too loud, but I actually love the sound. If you slide it slower it's quieter too. One warning: the colored coating on the black one will rub off with consistent use and stain your fingers. Get the silver one.

I like this fidget toy. It is heavy and substantial in your hand. It has limited movement up and down. It is noisy so it is hard to use it discreetly. And the magnets have started to come out after a week of use. I still like it, it just isn’t my favorite.

This is a fun fidget toy. Although it is waste more than what I expected it’s so nice to play with and a decent size. It can be kind of loud so I wouldn’t recommend if you need to have an a quiet environment and I feel like it is very rough on your fingertips. The cooking is very smooth and works very well. I feel like it is pretty well priced although the size is kind of small. The durability is very good as the product is very strong.

This is one of my favorite fidget devices in my arsenal. The weight is just right in my hand and I love the clicking noise the magnets make as you slide the plates. Maybe not the best for a quiet environment like a classroom but it is a bit quieter if you slide it faster and gives more of a haptic response. It calms me down very well and I find myself mindlessly fidgeting with it for long periods of time while I watch TV or do anything that forces me to cope with my anxiety. It's a simple mechanism, when you slide the two plates away from the center each plate gives you two nice clanks as the magnets catch each other for a total of 4.

Three magnets fell out, in the first 10 minutes of having it. Very disappointed. Just avoid this Chinese crap!
