The book is much too open for the building of our home. We are not interested in such open plans. I would like to return it. It has barely been opened and looks as it did when delivered. It was our aside with Christmas. Please let me know of this is possible.

I bought this book at a local book store while looking for specific examples of modern material choices in residential design. This book was just what needed. Each project features professional photographs and a floor plan (though I recall that perhaps a project or two did not, but I may be mistaken). The book allows you to view images of finished spaces and compare them directly to the homes' floor plans to understand the relationship between what is drawn and what is seen in perspective. The variety is fantastic, and the simple approach to a sort of middle-of-the-road modernism is very palatable.

Lots of pictures, but not the detail I expected or wanted. Should send it back, but probably won't bother.

Very practical but inspiring approach to interior design, including floor plans
This has plenty of inspiring interior design photos but what makes it very different from the mass of books in this category is that it's laid out as a series of projects including the floor plans for each and descriptions of what they were seeking to achieve.
