FFG has been trying to make the protection aspect less one-dimensional for a couple of years now. Nightcrawler continues pushing that correction in the right direction. The only criticism is that Nightcrawler is essentially designed to exclusively be built as a protection hero.
Review: He's a lot of fun - I love his playstyle and one of my favorite heroes so far along with black widow and maria hill. Never really enjoyed playing protection but this aspect really work well with him.

Thematic, fun, and pushing the game in a good direction. FFG has been trying to make the protection aspect less one-dimensional for a couple of years now.
