Is this grass soft or does it have hard stems?

3rd cut is the softest and 1st cut harder stems. My picky bunnies seem to enjoy all of them. The courses/harder stems are better for their teeth as it helps wear them down. All their hay is green and smells sweet. My buns won't touch any store bought hay as it just doesn't compare.

There is no alfalfa mixed in to the orchard hay, right?

It appears to be pure orchard grass hay. (I don't think my guinea pig would like it as much if alfalfa was mixed in.) I'm no hay expert, but it looks like all of the other orchard grass hay I've purchased. Hope this answer helps.

Pictured is 5lbs, description is 10lbs. I ordered and got 5lbs. Which is it 5lbs or 10lbs?

They have a 5 and 10 lb box just got to make sure you click the 10 lbs. Sometimes it will switch to a different size then you want I had that happen to me on other items it changed it in the check out so I had to change it back
