But the Highroad is perfect for wheel locking and it’s just sooooo much easier to fit and use. Takes 5 minutes to install and 1 minute or less to fit your bike!I bought Yakima locking barrels and added two of them in; one locks it to the roofbar the other a cable lock to the bike itself. The cable lock is more an deterrent so I wouldn’t leave your bike unsupervised but it might be enough to stall or push on unwanted interest elsewhere.Overall the utility of this carrier and how secure it is with pure ease of use gives it 5 stars from me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Bike Rack *by R***K on 25 March 2019* Awesome Bike rack. Quick to assemble in less than 15 minutes. Once assembled the bike is very quick and easy to Mount. 2 minutes maximum. Great for carbon frames, as the bike is only fixed at the Wheel. ### ⭐ requires parts *by A***R on 9 April 2021* I NEED the accessories to use the Yakima highroad, the part I require are 4 pack SKS Locks 8007204 ## Frequently Bought Together - Yakima HighRoad Upright Bike Mount Roof Rack for Cars, SUVs & More, Carries 1 Bike, Black - YAKIMA - SKS Lock Cores for Yakima Car Rack System Components - YAKIMA - JetStream Bar Aerodynamic Crossbars for Roof Rack Systems --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/65810943-yakimahighroad-wheel-on-upright-bike-mount-for-rooftop-racks-cars](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/65810943-yakimahighroad-wheel-on-upright-bike-mount-for-rooftop-racks-cars) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
