Superb piece of kit, incredible at this price
Superb piece of kit, has been 100% reliable for over 10months continuous running. Use this for guest network in our business - keeps guests 100% off our corporate networks. Obviously relies on good stable 5G (which we have) but set up was incredibly simple. Having the flexibility of the LAN ports is amazing at this price

With the right network , this gadget gives speeds as good as or faster than full fibre broadband
This is a great gadget. We bought it because we have a house in Greece and need reliable and affordable WiFi. We tried it out in London using a Three data sim card and it was hopeless. For our area, apparently Vodafone gives a much better result than Three. Then we took it to Greece and used a Cosmote data only Sim card. We had tried the Vodafone sim card there last year and it was no use in our area. But with a Cosmote data sim card, the speed was excellent, in fact achieving better speeds than using the full fibre broadband we are used to in London from Virgin. If you can get a sim card with strong coverage for the area you live, this MiFi gives excellent, reliable WiFi 24 hours hours a day, 7 days a week.

Decent value for a challenging location
Online 4 minutes from unboxing; SSID name/password plus DHCP range reset in a further few minutes - delayed only by being twice auto-logged-out from the admin interface. The G5B2's responsive indicator lights - rather than its sketchy "Preferred Position" feature - guided to its least-bad position within this property & System readings then confirmed this built-up & ground-floor location had at best a faint, variable, & noisy (-105 dBm) path to 5G via a nearby; but much obscured, Vodafone mast. (sigh) . . . . obtained a Bluespot Mini 2x MiMo 5G-only aerial . . . . this ZTE model was chosen partly for its 2x just-in-case aerial sockets; albeit with those fragile TS-9 connectors. Once switched to use external aerials, this G5B2 settled down to provide a solid-enough connection at or better than 75Mbps Down/2Mbps Up. (phew!) Stable-so-far router function through LAN socket to fixed-address NAS. WiFi 6 effective; but thick structural walls to back kitchen required (effortless) WPS-button setup of old-but-OK DAP-1620 WiFi 5 extender. Can see no obvious way to register for advertised: "2 Year Warranty". All-in-all ZTE's G5B2 is a decent-value implementation of Qualcomm's Snapdragon x62/x65-generation modem, & a flexible means to bin FTTC internet & give 5G MiFi a go; esp. if at a mildly challenging urban location.

Be a fool not to buy this Router!
Amazing product! Worked right out of the box with strong internet signal combined with a Giff Gaff sim, love it, pure quality and highly recommended...

Don’t waste your money!!
I would give it zero stars. I’ve had this for a year. Since I have bought it - it has been completely unusable. Should not even be allowed to sell this to consumers. My speed has been less than 1 mbps for download and upload ever since. Absolutely ridiculous. Waste of money. The signal strength is completely terrible. Connections always drop out. Can’t even use the tv on it. I thought I was saving money not paying for a traditional broadband plan… jokes on me. Wasted all this money upfront. And no customer support at all. Any advice on how to make this junk work?

Good. Just good.
So far so good! I have set it to autoreset every night which keeps it stable. It is important the positioning of the router is good along with a decent network. I'm using Vodaphone which has the best 5g signal by me.
