Lost my connector for some old Turtle Beaches - this worked perfectly.
This will allow you to turn old PC headsets, seperate speakers and mic or headphones and mic into a connection that will work on newer laptops or cell phones.There is no bleed over in the cable - it is insulated well (I have had trouble with this in the past for other cables)I personally needed it for an old set of turtle beach PC headphones and mic - it worked perfectly.The mic sound is also clear, no additional or unusual noises in the pickup. Overall this is a solid buy and the cable works well. If you need to convert multiple 1/8th (3.5mm) into a single TRRRS 1/8th (3.5mm) connection this is the way to go!

switched to mono. not of good quality.
looks great, but no longevity, one of those just stopped working , one side of the headset was working after less than a month, it seems like the conductors inside are very thin, and of bad quality. not advisable for anything that requires movement (headset on your head) .

Doesn’t feel as durable as others
Gave it a four star rating because it feels very thin and plastic like doesn’t feel very durable. feels like if you pull on it hard enough it will split or break. Does work well tho on Xbox one controller, computer and there’s no feedback or static when plugged in.

Broke after 3 months
I bought this in late August 2018, by early December 2018 the wire was already breaking and the sound would cut in and out. I don't think I have used it more than 30 times since I had bought it. Not at all durable.

Not for Iphone 8 Plus with some external mic --- Be aware
I purchased this for connecting my external mic (Takstar SGC 598) to my Iphone 8 Plus but it doesnt work. It works with others wireless professional mic with a receiver. Due to my research, I think my cheapo Takstar not delivery enough Ohm to the Iphone to make it to detect external mic.

Good quality cable, works great with my Sennheiser PC37x. Definitely recommend for others who need a Headphone and mic adapter.
