Great tasting cereal but can get pricey
Always a flashback childhood favorite for myself. Hard to find in grocery shelves. The trick is to buy when the price is low. Too high (supply vs demand?)….and I’ll pass.

Just like mom used to make. Love the texture and consistency, flavor is good too. Just make sure to pay attention to the cooking instructions. My first bowl came out like a rock.

Tastes like I remember it as a kid
I got this cause I was feeling nostalgic. I wasn't much of a huge fan as a kid, breakfast was my least favorite meal, and I always felt this was kind of boring. But this tastes just like I remember it so many years ago. I really enjoyed it this time around! Filling, and it doesn't need any sugar, salt, or milk. Just water. Great on cold days, or when you're not feeling well. I will say that I had no idea it was so tricky to get the measurements right (mom always had it ready in my bowl when I hit the table). You can't eyeball this with water and mix like it's oatmeal, or you will end up with some "50s sci-fi, ever-expanding ooze" that fills your microwave in the blink of an eye. Absolutely follow the instructions. Props to the MaltoMeal crew for keeping the recipe the same after all these years!
