The PUCK by Dayton Audio is a small tactile transducer or mini bass shaker that is intended to be used in Home Theater, Gaming, and Auto Sound applications.

Review: Works well in a Virtual Pinball Cabinet - Fitted two of these to my AtLegends Pinball Table and they work really well. They're not super powerful (the Dayton website recommends using 4 at a time!) but they rumble nicely without being too over powering. Bear in mind that if you hook these up to a standard audio source then they will work more like a subwoofer - which is actually beneficial to my installation as it really enhances the bass in music and sound effects. The proper vibration system kicks in around 60hz and they do give a nice thump!
Review: Can be used to replace tgt-2 transducer - My beloved Thrustmaster TGT-2 (TGT-II) developed a horrible rattling noise from the transducer. While the transducer is used only for Gran Turismo games, It was pretty annoying This transducer can be used to replace the original one, just need to attach/solder the wire to the original connector. It fits perfectly in the hole of the original Thrustmaster transducer, but the screws are not aligned. I managed to attach it via one screw and thick 3M automotive double sided tape. Alternatively you can drill new holes in the wheel base or build an adapter plate. For 20£ got my rumble effect back and no rattle 100% satisfied

**Q: What gauge is the speaker cable? (thickness or AWG rating?)**
A: Any speaker cable can be connected to this. It is approximately 0,75mm2

**Q: How do you connect this please**
A: You connect to amplifier as a normal speaker, just make sure you have 8ohm output on you amplifier.

**Q: Is it possible to connect this transducer with an amp to a CD player?**
A: If your amp supports the Dayton Audio TT25-16 you could connect it with this amp. The input of music (in this case a CD player) is irrelevant.

**Q: I’m new to these sorts of things, what else would I need to set this up. I have simhub atm but that is all as I am using for sim racing**
A: You would need either a 2 way or 4 way amp, depending on your preference. The amp I am using is a knobsound 2 way amp which I plugged into the headphone socket. Then go into simhub bass shaker settings and select headphones socket. You can change the settings from the bass shaker section within simhub.

OK for gear sticks on driving rigs. If you want shakers for chairs or pedals... go for a 50 W job !
