This is a beautiful light that is bright and comforting. The brightness is adjustable, as is the light setting for various tones. This is really great. It looks cool -- looks more expensive than it is, to be honest. It is nice to have the option of both the cool white and the natural white (I'm not a huge fan of warm white, in general). The lamp can get quite bright but the shade disperses the light well, so there is no glare. The unit seems sturdy. The remote is excellent. Something worth noting: I purchased 2. One for each side of my bed. You should be aware that the remotes control *both* lamps simultaneously. That may be something you like, may not be. But you should be aware. For me, it is great.
