A: Not very strong - it should not be your primary water pump.

**Q: Why does this not need a water container or bowl ?**
A: The pump needs to be in a water container or bowl.

**Q: How long is the spout?**
A: It's about 12-14" long.

**Q: How long is the electrical cord**
A: The fountain comes with a pump.  That cord is 6 feet long.  If using outside, it would be easy to lengthen the cord by simply using an outdoor extension cord

Tube and pump are not compatible sizes, so this doesn't work out of the box. We used tape as a temporary solution but ideally can find the right size tube.
