Feedback after 130 hrs screen on time: 9/10 screen for the price (500£ on Black Friday) 1440p 240 Hz (180 Hz on a 10-bit colour over DP) Indiana Jones was the first game I tried it on (I was blown away with immersion especially in the caves of Vatican where you walk with torch) The vibrancy of colours is next level, tested games like Borderlands 3, Psychonauts 2, GTA Vice City Remastered, STALKER 2. Colours pop like crazy. My GF says she heard more compliments from me towards this monitor when I’m playing than she ever heard from me towards her 🥹. Did not experience OLED flickering, the only thing was dirty screen effect on a grayscale image at +80% (vertical lines across all the screen) could see this everywhere for the first couple of days. Eventually after couple of screen pixel clear cycles it all seem to disappear and is no longer an issue so don’t freak out when you turn your monitor for the first time. One minor downside is text clarity (slightly worse than on my old 1440p IPS screen, but not terrible at all, I find it OK to use). HDR in games on WIN10 is completely broken, the screen looks washed out in this mode and you loose saturated colours and brightness for some reason. I haven’t found the game yet that would look better in HDR than SDR. In fact SDR games now look almost like if they had HDR on this screen so I’m not really sure if I need it. There is no coming back to LCD after seeing this. You have to see it in person, pictures don’t do the justice.

I’ve been using the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG gaming monitor for over 4,000 hours now, and it’s been fantastic. Yes, it’s expensive, but you’re getting a premium brand and an OLED panel at 1440p with 240Hz refresh, plus ASUS’s custom heatsink for burn-in protection. Gaming on this monitor is incredibly smooth with very low latency, the colours and blacks look incredible. After thousands of hours, I’ve seen no burn-in, no stuck images, and it still performs like the day I got it. Pros: • Superb gaming performance, very smooth • Low latency • OLED panel with burn-in protection • Extremely reliable over thousands of hours Cons: • High price point Overall, this is an outstanding monitor if you want top-tier gaming performance and long-term reliability — well worth it for serious gamers.

This ASUS XG27AQDMG is the best 27" 2K OLED Gaming monitor available on the market today!!! The HDR contrast and OLED brightness levels are truly amazing!! I have tried this monitor in both gaming (Hunt Showdown) and also watching HDR video/movie content on netflix etc... and the clarity and colours of the content are incredible. I highly recommend this monitor if youre looking to replace an old 27" IPS panel. The other amazing features on this monitor is that it has 240hz refresh rates which is more than enough and also the 3rd generation WOLED GLOSSY panel. This is one of the few OLED monitors out that has a GLOSSY panel rather than the standard Matte panel. Asus is a well trusted brand I have always used their gaming monitors!

Used this monitor for a week and it's already burned the pixels. I refreshed the pixels on the recommended time(8 hours) everytime it came up. I didn't use it for 1 day and then the next day I turned the monitor on and the pixels were burned and everything i was clicking on was instantly burning into the screen. This is my first OLED screen and I would totally recommend getting one, as it's the best looking quality I've seen with a monitor ever. But, I would obviously not recommend this particular monitor, unless you like swapping your monitors weekly :)

Fantastic monitor went from a PG279Q which I have had for years and have tried to replace but others just couldn't compete with the response time and colours of the panel until now! I cannot believe the difference an OLED monitor would make response is noticeably faster than my PG279Q and the colours are on another level!

This monitor was a huge upgrade for me even going from my previous monitor which was a 27 inch 1440p 240hz IPS display. The contrast you get with OLED is just fantastic and has been a pleasure to use for competitive and story games. 27 inch (or 26.5) feels like the perfect size for me. The HDR experience you get on this monitor is very good as well. Pro's: Fantastic image quality Great motion clarity Great Colours and Colour accuracy Perfect blacks and perfect contrast High refresh rate Bright Screen for an OLED Great HDR experience Glossy Screen further enhances colours and clarity Great Stand Con's Potential Burn-in (In about 3 weeks of use and 231 hours on screen on time I have 0 burn in but will update if I notice any in the future) Text clarity in windows Firmware update only worked if I unplugged everything other than KBM. In conclusion I think this is a great monitor for anyone looking to upgrade from an older or even more recent LCD display primarily for watching movies or gaming. If you do a lot of work on text documents or spreadsheets I would maybe recommend keeping your LCD for work and then using your OLED for entertainment.

I went from using a Samsung monitor from 2015, 1080p 60Hz to this absolute beast. The difference is impeccable. I highly recommend it if you want to game with a high quality image and even just for watching YouTube or movies. It looks absolutely incredible. Definitely a top of the line monitor for a pretty decent price. If you don't want to go all out on 4k, this is the next best thing 100%

Fantastic image once calibrated. It has the range to be so bright that it's uncomfortable to look at a Web page. I lowered the brightness to 60 with hdr calibration and looks fantastic. Only downsides are the stand isn't very tall. Had to make a wooden box for it to stand on to raise it up to eye level. Also the cable management isn't the best. Minor gripes as the image quality makes up for it

Really Good monitor, the Gsync immediately activates on connecting the HDMI or Dpi cable

El monitor, para ser del 2024, es uno de los más consolidados que he visto hasta el momento. Soluciona todos los problemas que las generaciones previas del panel OLED estaban presentando. Al momento de montarlo y ver el rango de colores, la profundidad del color negro que ofrece cambia completamente la manera en la que se perciben las escenas en los videojuegos y películas. Vale completamente la pena, cada centavo. Curiosamente, al ser un acabado glossy, yo pensaba que iba a reflejar todas las luces que hay en el fondo de forma exagerada y que harían al monitor imposible de utilizar en espacios iluminados pero no es así del todo, claro que refleja pero no se siente tan horrible como con otros monitores. Este monitor llegó un día antes de lo esperado por lo que fue premio doble. Lo pienso disfrutar bastante, lo recomiendo y veré como evoluciona en los próximos meses, si hay malos resultados lo hare saber, pero de momento estoy fascinado.

Sick monitor. Mine came defective. Got a replacement from Asus. The screen has inky blacks. Out of the box you may have to change the colors a bit - use Gemini to assist you. Only downside is it has a power brick. The newer models have it embedded

I absolutely love this monitor! This is my first OLED monitor, and I decided to make the upgrade as I was completely revamping my setup. First things first: the OLED panel - Super crisp. The colors are exceptionally vibrant, and every game just looks better to the eyes. The 240hz refresh rate is a nice plus, although I will say, I did not notice any real difference by jumping from a 180hz monitor to 240hz. Next, is the size - At 27", this monitor delivers amazing 1440P quality. At first, I was hesitant to downsize from a 32" 1440P to a 27". However, I genuinely don't even feel like I have noticed a significant difference, especially as I also upgraded my VESA Mount to an articulating mount, that allows me to pull the monitor closer to me. Most people buying this product are probably looking for a monitor that will fit their gaming needs, and the 27" size, feels more than perfect when it comes to any of the games I play (TacFPS, MOBA, etc.). I don't think I would go back to a 32" monitor for a main gaming monitor. This monitor (probably) won't magically make you rank up, but it will give you an edge in most games thanks to the high refresh rate, vibrant colors, and overall quality. And even if you don't rank up, you will definitely enjoy your gaming experience much more when you're playing on a monitor as nice as this one.
