These pedals are fantastic for the price. If you're still on factory nylon pedals with no grip pins, you will be looking for a word stronger than "glued" when you try these out. The bearings (this is the three bearing option, as none of the needle roller options fit my build) are smooth, but they can keep the pedal flat when your foot leaves, so you've got somewhere to come back to. That is a major upside for me. The install was very easy, they can be installed with a 15mm wrench or an 8mm Allen, both very common for biking. The nylon bodies are very light, sturdy, and thin. This helps with pedal strikes by a considerable amount. The pins will GRIP your shoes, as long as you arent wearing some of those rigid soled "bike shoes" that aren't intended for flat pedals. They send two extra pins and nuts, which you'll need because they bend easily. I've taken ~10 rides on these pedals now, and I broke one pin off on a major rock strike. The nylon holds up well to abrasions, but you will certainly see the edges chewed up if you smack them on a rock or a curb. It's a non issue, as the plastic is colored throughout, so this won't stick out like a sore thumb, akin to allow pedals. Buy these if; you want a solid and sturdy light nylon pedal that grips your shoes like it is meant to, for a very very reasonable price. These are all but RaceFace Chester pedals, which I was able to compare them to on a local bike. Don't buy these if; the name offends you, you want a big name brand price for the same quality, or you just want them to have a name brand logo. Otherwise, you cannot lose, and the upgrade is incredible over stock stompers.

Easiest installation, pretty good grip, feels really high quality out of the box, the plastic is really nice, smooth, and thick. Really good for the price and would recommend.

Wow, these work very well. My shoes were gripped the entire time. Even with hard-core mountain biking, it felt like super high and pedals.

So these are blatant knock offs of RaceFace Chesters. I bought them because they were about $20 less than the Chesters and had some good reviews from real mountain bikers on youtube. My last pair of pedals were the OneUp Composite pedals which I also really liked, however they had taken a beating over 3K miles and for $30 it I thought I'd try these rather than service the OneUp's. Overall these feel great and come with a few extra pins which is nice. They are grippy (paired with my Ride Concept Hellions and provide just the right amount of stickiness in my opinion. I can still move my foot to readjust my position if necessary but through the chunder my foot stays on. These pedals do well on the jumps, flow, and tech and I have about 300 miles on them without any real signs of wear. I really like the idea of new pedals every season or so and at $30 it's pretty affordable. I've love to see some of the name brands come down in price on their composites as I think $50-$60 is a bit steep. At this price point you can afford to replace your pedals rather than service them after a season or two (considering pins and a service kit are close to $20). My only negative comment is the hex size to install these is one size larger than the OneUp (and likely the Chesters) so my multitool doesn't have a large enough size to tighten them if they were to come loose on the trail. This hasn't happened and they do "tighten" as you pedal so after a few rides it shouldn't be an issue you have to worry about.

Amazing pedals and would be a 5 star but they stole/knocked off Chester's. They are identical for a fraction of the price. I loved my Chester's and got these because I couldn't believe they'd be the same but they are. If you are OK with someone taking someone else's design to save you money you won't go wrong. Still a phenomenal mountain bike pedal.

I've been biking for 47 yrs and I never thought about pedals... really.. never gave them a second thought. I've owned several bikes in my life but never had to replace pedals. But the original pedals on my 31y.o. bike finally bit the dust this past summer. Having never shopped for pedals I didn't know what to look for. After a bit of research, I decided to give these pretty inexpensive pedals (which I got on-sale for about $20) a shot. I thought I'd really have to work hard to get my original pedals off my bike.. I mean.. it's been 31 years! But surprisingly, they came off without too much fuss. And these new pedals went on with even less fuss. Taking them for a ride to test them out and I was shocked at the difference it makes when you don't have to worry about your foot slipping off the pedal! I'm able to push the pedals with much more force than I ever would have tried to do with my previous pedals. And due to that, I spend a lot more time riding "out of the saddle" than I've ever done before. The only issue I've seen is that the tread screws are really digging into the soles of my (new) athletic shoes. I will either back them out or wear different shoes when riding from this point on. Other than that... I LOVE these pedals. Hopefully they'll last as long as the original pedals (though I doubt I'll still be biking in 32 years!! LOL)

Replacing the pedals on my MTB has been one of the best investments I've ever made. The originals were made of cheap, heavy, and hard plastic. These pedals are light, solid, and have a smooth, flawless ride. They're easy to install and include the tool, spare screws, and washers. I love them. We'll see how long they last before breaking down, but I hope it's for many years.

Loves these pedals. I have them on 3 of my 4 bikes. Good price, great grip, and the spins smooth and quiet I’m a 220lbs. Jumper and they handle the abuse just fine

I bought these Fooker MTB pedals after seeing them recommended in a review by Seth Alvo, and they’ve been a fantastic upgrade. They look far better than the basic pedals that come fitted to most bikes and feel much more confidence-inspiring on the trail. The platform provides plenty of grip, so your feet stay planted on the pedals, which is especially useful on more technical sections where maintaining control is important. I’m also impressed with the bearings. They run smoothly but don’t spin too freely when unloaded. That might sound like a small thing, but it makes it much easier to find and position the pedal when setting off or after putting a foot down on the trail. Overall, these feel well made, provide excellent grip, and have noticeably improved the feel of my bike compared to the stock pedals. I’d happily buy them again.

Buy these pedals, I have a specialized rockhopper and the plastic nubs on the stock pedals sheared off after a couple trails on green and blue difficulty. Also my feet were severely slipping off the pedals as I rode some trails after rain and there was mud everywhere. Since I got the fookers, this has dramatically decreased, however, I still do get the odd slip probably because my skill level is simply not there yet. I am a beginner to all this mountain biking, but these pedals are the best upgrade I've put on my bike. My friend rode my bike and he bought some fooker pedals too LOL.
