A cracking low price machine.
Absolutely amazing. I've been filament printing for quite a while making full size skulls for a small e,tsy shop. I wanted to improve the teeth by printing them in resin. See first pic. It worked perfectly so I had a go at printing the skulls in 60mm miniatures. Pic2. The machine is really easy to use with minimal set up and really does work a treat. It works so well I've ordered the larger x1 from creality to make bigger stuff. A few tips that may be helpful. Resin printing is a little different to filament, mainly having to hollow the model and the different approach to supports. As usual you tube can guide the way but using chitubox makes things easy. Chitubox basic is free and easy to use and the printer comes with a free trial card to chitubox Pro. I haven't needed the Pro version as yet and I don't want to sign up to free trial and ending up with another subscription that I forgot to cancel. The basic will do all you need as a hobbyist. I've used smelly resin for casting in the past so didn't want the clean up so I opted to start off with water washable resin. Be in no doubt that it is still toxic but doesn't give off the stink of normal resin. I've been using any anycubic water wash white which prints beautifully with no failed prints after a month of use. It is quite brittle so carefully snip the supports off rather than snapping them. I can't comment on how brittle normal resin is which I intend to move onto but opted for the easiest option resin wise while I adjusted the machine. Being small prints I've used a basic nail uv curer to dry the prints. Try not to overcook them, cure them enough so they're no longer tacky. I found that the w w resin yellowed on curing but it does go back to white after a day or two. I'm sure other colours do the same. For the settings I used the recommended settings on the included USB stick not the ones suggested by chitubox. With anycubic ww white they work perfectly and take a third off the print time. Input the USB settings into the print parameters box on the machine when you start your print. These parameters will stay in the machine for every print till you change them. This machine is incredibly easy to use and nowhere as complicated as I've possibly made it sound. If you're moving from filament to resin or just starting out I can honestly say that this is an incredible little machine.

Great and easy customer service
Speedy delivery. Not fit for purpose for my son's birthday as he didn't want a train 3d printer he prefers the filament version as this printer will not print fidget today's like he wanted to. Returned without opening, which was very easy and free to do. Very satisfied.

An OK printer
Bought as a replacement for a high quality machine that went wrong. It's Ok and pretty foolproof but detail is a bit lax and plate quite small. Keeping as a reserve now my Mars 5 ultra is working again.

Very good for price with provisos as noted below.
As a beginners printer it's great, very easy to set up and use. Print quality seems good though my resin is a little out of date so very well may get better. HOWEVER it seems Creality in their wisdom have changed this one from the earlier models in the build plate hanger area so any R6 plate drained you download WILL NOT FIT. ๐ก I have found that the Halot one Max plate drainers do fit so all not lost. I just wish if a manufacturer is going to change things like that it is pointed out in the instruction or the thing is called a MK2 or something!

Brilliant for Entry Level
This is classed as Creality's entry level resin printer, but that is only because of its size and resolution. The R6 has a 6" (approx) LCD screen with around 2K resolution. The two printers above this have 10" screens and higher resolution. The R6 shares WiFi printing with its biggest brother, which allows you to launch nd monitor prints from the Creality Cloud app - an essential download, I would say. The printer comes with a free premium membership of Chitu Box - 3 months - which is a resin slicing package. You can also obtain Halot Box from the Creality website, which is a free slicer. The manual is pretty good for walking you through initial setup . Printing is very straightforward. Set your resin options in the slicing software, add the resin, replace the cover, choose your file and print. I use WiFi, but there is an option to print from USB, indeed a test file is provided on the included USB stick. Then wait - nothing happens quickly in 3D. My only real criticism of the R6 is the size of the LCD touchscreen. It is responsive and easy enough to navigate, but it is very small. The print states screen includes the information you would want, but it is very small. Overall, this is a fantastic printer, at a great price.

Good but....
It's very easy to set up and print. Build quality is good. Be aware if this is your first printer, replacing the FEP (the clear film on the bottom of the resin tray is fiddly and the build quality of the tray isnt the best, and for some reason it doesn't read the usb drive.
