Review: Being mechanically inclined, taking the pedal crank assembly off to make this a bigger balance bike was quite easy even though the instructions don't outline- loosen the two nuts on the bottom of the crank, push this back toward the rear wheel in the bolt slots, then you can put a little side pressure on the chain with your finger and then crank a pedal to have the chain slip off the forward sprocket. Removal of the chain gets pretty self evident after that. The three year old took to this bike quickly as he has just nicely outgrown his first balance bike and juuuuusst barely fits tjis one at its lowest seat height, so this will work well for a few years we hope as he transitions to pedals/training wheels likely next summer. Very nice bike, seems to be well built with quality pieces.

This 2-in-1 balance bike has been one of the BEST purchases we’ve made! The quality is impressive, it’s lightweight yet super sturdy, and I love that it easily transitions as my child grows. The 2-in-1 design makes it perfect for beginners who need confidence at first, and then it converts seamlessly as they get more comfortable riding. My little one took to it immediately — the seat is comfortable, the handlebars are easy to grip, and the whole bike is very stable. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design. It’s also easy to assemble, and incredibly durable (survived several tumbles already!). If you’re looking for a balance bike that will last, grow with your child, and actually help them learn to ride, THIS is it. We absolutely love it!
