- Superfood Organic Mushroom Coffee with Lion's Mane & Nootropics

I really like this coffee, it's the only coffee I keep at home anymore. I like the energy it gives vs. straight coffee. It definitely hits different, it seems "smoother" and not as jittery/edgy but the caffeine is still there in the background. I don't get caffeine crashes and feel like I need a nap in the afternoon with this. I was drinking this pretty much everyday but the caffeine withdrawals are hard on off days . Now I take mushroom capsules, almost the same blend and they work great. On days when I need a little extra push I drink a cup of this coffee and it gets me going. I usually use 1/2 the recommended amount of powder and sweeten with honey. I'm not a coffee snob, I am in it 90% for the energy boost but I also don't want crappy coffee. I like the taste of this blend. I don't think it tastes earthy at all but I also like the taste of mushrooms so maybe I just don't notice it as much as someone else might.

Mushroom coffee has been part of my healthy journey for several years. Due to complications from having Long Covid I can no longer tolerate my ADHD meds. I also began having issues with any form of stimulant including coffee. The combo of brain fog from LC, unmedicated ADHD, and perimenopause has been an absolute nightmare! Coffee had always been my crutch and suddenly I found myself with no resources to help my overactive unregulated brain. I've tried most of the top mushroom brands with varying results. Lucid coffee ranks high on my list for taste and alertness without jitters. An ingredient that sets Lucid apart from some others is the addition of L-theanine. L-theanine is a game changer for neurodivergent and anxious minds and helps regulate my nervous system so I can focus. Lucid has a solid coffee taste, blends well, and gives me exactly what I need to function in the morning. I blend Lucid with cinnamon, collagen, and a bit of sea salt. One the days I'm intermittent fasting I add a bit of ghee and some days whole milk or colostrum. I don't mind the taste and could drink it black if needed, but I enjoy my latte version. The energy is smooth and my mood is positive. The price is reasonable and on par with most mushroom coffees, especially on auto-ship. If you're looking for a tasty mushroom coffee that gives a steady, clean focus, definitely and other health benefits, give Lucid a go.

So far I like it. I felt weird the first day. A little headache and just off. The second day and on have been great. I have one cup of lucid in the morning and maybe one cup off coffee when I get to work. I drink everything black. I was drinking 8 plus cups of regular coffee a day before and a energy drink most days. With this i feel like I have more energy though out the day and better focus. The taste is not to bad but it not coffee flavored.

Delicious. I can feel a little of the effects. I was concerned it would not taste good bjt they balanced it well. Over priced for what you're getting. That is the only reason I can't give it 5 stars

I really like this brand of mushroom coffee! It dissolves well in hot water, and even mixes up pretty easily! It doesn’t taste too Earthy - like ground dirt - though maintains the nice mushroom Earthy flavor. It works wonders in my intestine! So if anyone has bloating or regularity issues, try this stuff! I’m not sure about the pain relief. I will pay closer attention this next order. I made the mistake of trying a different brand - to try and save money, it didn’t work - so I can’t remember. I would recommend over other brands out there for taste and effectiveness. I’m looking forward to being back on Lucid and all the benefits I was getting!

Be warned, the nootropics are STRONG! I used to drink 3 energy drinks a day and have used other mushroom coffees before, so I am fully aware of how caffeine and the mushrooms affect me already, so the only X-factor here would be the added nootropics. On my second day of trying the product, I experienced a near panic attack. Massive, ramping-up anxiety, flop sweat, heart rate skyrocketing, tremors in my hands, and a swing of incredible irritibility. I guess this blend just isn't for me. I recommend anyone trying this start with maybe a half-strength dose for a few days to see how you react before starting a full strength cuppa every morning.

It's difficult to say whether this does any of the things it claims to do for you. I drink 20oz of coffee (Cafe Bustello brewed in a drip coffee maker w/ non-dairy creamer and about 2 tsp sugar) every morning. I switched to a half-caf blend of coffee and added 1 tbsp of Lucid as directed on the package (kept the sugar & creamer). It tastes fine, I notice a little bit of the musty smell some people have mentioned when I mix it up, but I don't taste it or smell it after that. I don't know that I've noticed any distinct benefits, but also no distinct detriments. **Edit** After picking up a second package and using it as described above, I still don't see any effects at all. Again, if you're looking for a replacement for coffee, I guess this is fine, but don't expect any of the various benefits touted on the packaging or in the marketing. I will say this: The package says it contains 30 servings of 1 tbsp, and I've carefully measured out leveled one tbsp servings each day and I got 24 servings from the first package, and 26 from the second. My guess is that they're estimating servings by weight, but not taring out the weight of the packaging which shorts the customer on actual product. I tried it a second time just to see if maybe I just got the one-off light package, but that does not appear to be the case. In the end? It's overpriced, doesn't do what it says it will, and misrepresents the # of servings. It gets 2 stars simply for not tasting bad.
