The included remote is needed to change the color temperature or brightness settings, there are no physical switches on the light itself. I would have preferred physical switches to set the light at the time of installation, rather than a remote to keep track of. Thankfully, settings are retained, and the remote is only needed once. It's helpful to drill some holes in the plastic base of the light before mounting it, as there are many small cup shaped sections that face upward and will collect water when it rains. Drilling a weep hole in each will allow them to drain, see my pic. It's also a good idea to run a bead of silicone caulking around the edges of the solar panel. The silicone is not 100% necessary, but it should help to extend the lifespan. It should be noted that this light does not use anywhere near the claimed 4500 watts of power or create anywhere near 4,500,000 lumens. These numbers are massively inflated. More realistic numbers would be closer to 45 watts of power and 4,000-6,000 lumens, this would be consistent with the size of the light, battery, and solar panel. Overstating the watts and lumens is common in the marketing for this type of solar street light, making it difficult for buyers to compare different lights when shopping. A good rule of thumb is to check the measurements of the solar panel and compare that.

The price is cheap, but the quality cannot be guaranteed.
When I received the goods, the outer packaging was damaged. Because the box was too large, the product box shook left and right inside. After opening it, the product quality seems not very good. From the pictures, we can see that the details are very rough and the materials used are all soft plastic. The materials in one place present different colors. Not used because I don't want to install and disassemble it later.Maybe choose a better quality one, which is more suitable

Not to sure about it. Gave it 3 stars cuz it’s in the middle.
I’ll update in a month from now. When I received it something was moving in the box. When I opened it had loose items in the box. The solar panel looked dirty and had white streaks on it. Light worked but didn’t brighten up the way I expected it to be like in the pictures and advertising for this product. Looks cheap and flimsy but will try it out and give it a honest review. To be continued…

Monster of a Light
This is a review of SZPOWER 4500000LM Solar Street Light. The model number is SZA450-SL. The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is B0D4L3XZMN. The lamp has 4500 watts with 486 LEDs. It generates a whopping 4500000 lumens with an adjustable color temperature ranging from 2700K to 6500K, and with an adjustable brightness between 25% to 100%. Because of the angled shape of the lenses, the unit can illuminate a 180° half circle of light, covering an area of over 3,300 square feet. Measuring 26.5” x 13.3” x 3.14” and weighing 13 pounds, this is a very large street light. It comes with heavy-duty hardware for installing on a sturdy pole or on a solidly built wall. The entire assembly, including the mounting tube is about 44” long. Something to consider if you live in a high wind area. As with all solar powered devices, the assembly must be mounted in direct sunlight. Before installing out of reach, press the red power button for about 3 seconds. This will activate the light. Use caution here – the light is extremely bright. The remote control will operate the many lighting modes. I have attached a page from the comprehensive User Guide showing the many features of the remote. The massive 25,000mAh battery will have enough energy to power the light after a few gloomy days of no sunshine. The assembly can stay in place all year. It is rated IP66, meaning that it is waterproof, as well as heat and frost resistant. This is the brightest light I have ever reviewed, and the most expensive. If you are interested in illuminating a large area, you should consider this assembly with its versatile remote control and lighting modes.

A beast of a light
Make no mistake—this is a large, high-powered light. Designed for parking lots, it has no trouble illuminating the area in front of my garage. With 4,500 watts powering 486 dimmable LEDs, it offers adjustable color temperatures of 2700K, 4200K, and 6500K to suit different lighting needs. The light is built for versatility, allowing both wall and pole mounting. Naturally, it's waterproof for reliable outdoor use. The motion sensor smoothly transitions from dim to bright and back again, enhancing both security and efficiency. Overall, this is an excellent light for the price.

Note the size of this product!
I was surprised by the size and weight of the box when I received this package! Upon unboxing, I found myself looking at a far larger light than what I had imagined (my own fault for not paying attention to the details!). So, please note that this light is almost 30" long and 13.5" wide (when including the mounting frame)! The weight is also substantial! (not in a bad way) My intention was to mount this up high on my garage but I need to install a mounting plate up there first. So temporarily, I thought I could mount this on a steel pole that I have sticking up from my fence so that it would still shine over my driveway. As I proceeded to mount it, I found the steel pole moving! (Suffice it to say that it is not driven all the way into the ground, apparently) I'm actually in doubt that a mounting plate would be strong enough to hold the mass of this light. So, unable to test this light in its intended locale and usage, I opted to just let it charge for several of days in my back yard before just leaning it against my deck fence to see how the light worked. During that period, I had intermittent rain to challenge its waterproof claims. As you'll see in my photos, there is a noticeable space between the solar panel and the frame of this light, but regardless of how much rain it encountered, it does not seem to have had any impact on its performance. As for light output, this light seems to have a very "floody" shine which appears to spread more side to side versus front to back. In the motion sensor mode, the 15% brightness was good enough to light up my backyard quite adequately for moving about. Oddly enough, when it went to 100% brightness, I was not amazed. Yes, it increased the brightness and light output, but not 85% more than the 15% it was already shining at. (The lumen rating is also very dubious but I already had that in mind when I ordered this light) I'm still torn whether I will use this for my driveway, as the performance and sheer size have me dubious. Nonetheless, the solar panel works very well and even though I have the solar panel facing away from the sun for the past week, this light has continued to run from dusk to dawn and through periods of inclement weather without issue! If you have a true pole or a very high mounting point for this light, I think it will provide a good flood of the area beneath it.

Bright enough to light up my whole yard
I wanted to mount a light on the back of my garage that would illuminate my backyard without having to hardwire it and run up my electric bill. This 4500W solar light has done just that. Installation is easy and I had it mounted and charging in under 30 minutes. I like that it has a remote control so that I can change my settings if I need to. It comes on a dusk and will turn off at dawn. I really am pleased with the brightness of this light.
