Atlas Set of 2 World War II Fighter Planes 1:72 Hawker TEMPEST against MESSERSCHMIDT Me262 (ref D04)

The 262 Aircraft was Broken , and was missing a Tail Plane.The Set was Returned and I ordered a New pair of Aircraft.Both Aircraft are Good Quality Die Cast with some Plastic parts , eg 262 Engines and Tail planes.The 262 Aircraft is Great Aircraft 1/72 scale , in real life is 10.6 metres length , and a wingspan of 12.5 metres . ( Max speed of 540 mph )The Tempest Aircraft looks a bit larger than the 262 but the models are nearly the same size but the wing depth of the Tempest is approx. 1/3 deeper which makes it look bigger and is also a fairly rare model .Again 1/72 scale , in real life is 10.26 metres length , and also a wingspan of 12.5 metres . ( Max speed of 416 mph ) is 100% Great model.During WW2 the Tempest V was used against V1 flying bombs and in a shallow dive could either shot them down or by placing the Tempest wing under the V1 wing , flip the V1 wing over which cause the navigation system to fail and the V1 would crash.

Nothing at all to dislike, the quality is of a very high standard in terms of accuracy. I find it excellent value for money, I enjoy collecting diecast aircraft and also making plastic models. However I have collected a few diecast aircraft over the years and I must say that this dual set is the best I have seen.

Bothe models have a high degree of accuracy, they are very well made of diecast metal with plastic parts, both planes come with a plastic display stand, they are good value for money. Highly recommended.

I received two different planes: a JU-87 stuka and Hawker Hurricane. Booth look well-made but are completely different from what was advertised.

Really delighted with these two models. Well made, in metal and robust enough not to be damaged by careless handling/dusting. I thought at the low price the quality would be questionable……but not so….both aircraft look splendid in my now growing collection.

After collecting diecast aircraft (mainly WW2)for the last 20 odd years I would put these right up there with the best for the price. Detail might not be good as some but I have paid more than double for one aircraft model never mind two.The Tempest is a rare model to purchase in metal so I would definitely recommend adding one to your collection.

My grandson loved these planes, bought for xmas, excellent value and quality for the money paid, would buy again. thank u
